Your menu looks great!  I make a mint cookie shake with skim milk, chocolate protein powder, and DaVinci SF syrup.  Is that how you make yours?

Hey Kenyatta!  A day of awesome choices, as always.  How was your appointment with the new bariatric team???

It went ok. He wanted me to boost my calories up. He wants me to schedule an appointment with his dietition. He put me on new GERD meds. It seems like its getting even worse after I had the surgery. I had a Upper GI done late December, they find anyting so hopefully this new meds will work better. Blood work comes back Monday. He is happy with weight los and that he does not consider me a slow loser and that I look like I weigh around 150. That made me happy!!!!

Awesome!!! You should be happy!  You look great and obviously feel great!  Like you, I am so conscious of calories but with all the exercise you get in, maybe upping your calories a little will kickstart your metabolism into gear.  I have read many posts of people saying that when they upped their calories and water a little, they lost faster.  I agree that you are not a slow loser.  And fingers crossed that they figure out your GERD.  :) Em

Welcome, Miss C!  I try to start this post everyday so we can see what others have on their menus.  The site is a great source of information.  Before asking something as basic as "Should I get RNY or VSG?" try using the magnifying glass icon in the top right (the search button) and search for words or questions...there is a treasure trove of information here!  Good luck - from what I have seen, the vast vast majority of people on this site are thrilled with the outcome of our surgery.  Even 8 weeks out I know it's a lot of hard work, but the results speak for themselves and I am already down 42 lbs in 8 weeks and feeling and looking AMAZING.  Congratulations on starting your journey!
