Should we take magnesium as a separate supplement, and if so, what kind of best absorbed? Also, what is an acceptable dosage?

There's no need to take it separately unless your labs show your magnesium level is low.

Organic cashew and almonds are a great source of magnesium.  I eat some type of nut every day, I like crunchy foods and nuts replace all those salty snack.  I don't take drugs or chemicals at all anymore and all the issues I had associated with them are gone, i.e. bloating and cramps.
