Hey Laura,

I bet I sound like I am paid by Nasoya, but I have to tell you how much I freaking love the Nasoya Pasta Zero!  I just had it for lunch, and it's SO super low cal and low carb.  I cannot control myself around spaghetti so Nasoya to the rescue :)  Enjoy your day!

There are lots of brands - at our Harris Teeter supermarket they are in the refrigerated section by the tofu, which is in the produce area.  You HAVE to rinse them multiple times and then boil them for a minute or two or they smell fishy (no idea why, fish is not an ingredient!)  http://www.nasoya.com/products/pasta-zero-shirataki-spaghett i

snack: Greek yogurt

Huh - I have never broiled lettuce gems.  You will have to let us know how they taste!  I broil brussels sprouts - yum!  Do you do two hours of workout a day normally?  I am damn impressed!

I will let you know how they turn out.  I am on a roasted/broiled veggie kick lately, but I am not sure about these.  I love experimenting with all the different ways to cook healthy foods.  I usually do between 2-3 hours of exercise 5 days a week.  I do an hour of cardio 5 days, pilates 2 days, and weights 3 days.  Then 3 days a week I add a core class.  On Saturdays I like to do a quick run down by the beach with my husband and sometimes dog.  I slacked off on the core work over Christmas and my back started giving me problems. Once I started back with core and pilates my pain went away.   I honestly didn't think it made that much difference, but I refuse to skip a day now.

Lettuce was a no go.  I was thinking it would be more like Brussels sprouts. Oh well.

Wow your workout schedule is the most intense I've seen! And here I thought I was doing well with one hour five times a week lol. Sorry the lettuce bibs didn't turn out. I wasn't sure how lettuce would be in the oven - but now we know, thanks to you!
