Excess Skin
Like others have said, you really can't predict how how much loose skin you will have. It's pretty much a guarantee with a loss of 160 pounds, you will have some, since you didn't get to that size overnight and you can't ungrow skin. Your age is definitely in your favor. I was 39 when I had WLS and lost 130 pounds. I have some loose skin - not too bad. My legs aren't great and I definitley need a bood job, but I look a million times better than I did obese. No one would even know that I had any loose skin unless I was in a swim suit, and there's nothing I can do about it. If I were your age, I would consider saving for plastic surgery, your insurance will not likely cover it. At my age, I'm just happy the way I am, flaws and all. I've also had two children, so my body was already flawed from that experience. I think it depends where you are in your life. Also, plastics leave A LOT of scars. . . there's always a trade off.
