I'm about a week behind you in terms of when my surgery was done (April 14th, 2013).  My starting BMI was 40.7.  I've lost 108 pounds and I'd like to lose 4 more.  I wear a size S top and a size 2 pant.  You started out about 45 lbs. heavier than me, so in some ways we're about even.  I don't think you've dropped the weight too quickly.  Of course, I'm not aware of how tall you are, your age, or any of the particulars.

I had my surgery on 3/4/13 & I was 230 (5'3") the day of surgery. Today I am 133 & I have been stable since about October. My goal was 130 @ my height that would put me at a healthy BMI which is my ultimate goal. 140 would put me @ a healthy BMI but I wanted 130 to give myself a little bit of a buffer since I know I will eventually gain back some of the weight.

I have an initial goal of 165 in mind.  I started working with a nutritionist last Spring and had my surgery on December 16.  I lost 80 pounds prior to surgery, going from 347 to 264.  Three months out, I am down to 215 and am super excited that onederland is in sight.  For me, I am most interested in eliminating my co-morbidities and the weight loss is a great bonus!  I will continue to lose and if I get below 165, that will be great!  I am 5'7 1/2.  Best wishes!

I lost 60 pounds in 3 months, and my surgeon says I'm doing great. So, no, I don't think you lost too much too fast!

What weight goal does your surgeon say you should aim for?  I'm 5'6" and my surgeon suggested 150.  I'm aiming for 140 for bounce back.

At your height, I would have expected your goal to be closer to 120, but that is only my opinion.

Great job!!
