Nice to be back to a routine! Vacation pics inside :)
Hi OH friends,
I am back from a lovely four days in the sun of Puerto Rico. It was a little challenging to eat protein forward and I barely made my 60 g per day :( I only ate chicken and shrimp and lobster - didn't stray from plan but lost 1.4 lbs in the past week - which is SIGNIFICANTLY slower than the past three months. So I am pretty upset about that, even though I know 1.4 lbs a week is not something I normally did prior to RNY. I know I should be happy I didn't gain or stall, but I was really hoping to lose more.
But, today is a new day! I have an appointment with my personal trainer at 5:30 and this week is dedicated to protein and fluids and the gym!!!
Wanted to share a few pics - I still have a long way to go but being 74 lbs down from surgery, I sure feel good!
Thanks for all of your continued support and friendship!

Welcome back!
That pool looks fabulous, and so do you! Now that you've gotten yourself all warmed up and sunkissed, I'll cross my fingers that DC gets no more snowy, wintry weather.

I've been freezing my tail off, so I am utterly jealous of 4 warm days...being on vacation is an extra plus! :)
Glad you had such a great time!

Awww thanks!!!
Vacation and sun was awesome, although i have to say I am glad to be back to a routine. Amazing how quickly our wants can change. It used to be that holidays were a reason to drink and eat and relax and now I am so excited to be HOME and eating well and working out. I hope these are life changes that stick forever!

One thing I make sure to do, even on vacation, is keep to my running and off day workouts and keeping to eating well. I am right there with you--life changes I am making forever...vacation or not. :)
