Nice to be back to a routine! Vacation pics inside :)
Amen to that, Day_Dream_Believer! You know, it's so funny that at 277 I feel GREAT and yet I weigh more than many people's starting weight lol. There was a post the other day where someone had gained to 112 and was feeling terrible about it! Ha! If I have this much energy now, I can't imagine what Onederland will feel like :) It's been a hot minute since I was there, that is for sure :( But I am on my way!
You look so happy in your pics! Congrats on the weight loss! My weight loss feels like it is slowing down also and I'm not even on vacation.
I still have the habit of getting on the scale everyday and it is creeping...
I go on vacation soon and am nervous about all the delicious food I will be encountering. I will definitely have to be making my self go on a lot of walks. We will be in San Antonio for a few days so I will walk the river walk as much as I can.
glad to have you back!
You are kicking BUTT, queenbmamafranks! I see your posts on MyFitnessPal and we have lost the exact same number of pounds but I started much higher! So just remember how incredible you are doing :) In San Antonio the Tex-Mex will be calling you...I have found that fajitas (no rice, no beans, no tortilla) are a good choice AND it makes 3 or 4 meals for me :) I know you will rock your vacay.
I am also sometimes a daily weigher...I try to only do it 3 times a week but it's hard. It sucks to go from such rapid weight loss to creeping, and it only gets worse from here! I haven't had a stall yet so I suppose it's time to see a little loss. I worked out like my life depended on it today and my trainer was proud of me so I have to have faith that what I am doing will continue to work :)
I missed you guys too! This board is just such a great and supportive place :) I don't tell ANYONE outside of OH my starting weight or weight loss, and this is my place of accountability and information. It's nice to be back in that sense. Now...snow tomorrow...grrrr....
I had a great time and it was so nice to feel the sun, so I am glad that came through in the pics :) I also just feel really accomplished and proud of my weight loss so far, and it's nowhere near over, so that helped put a smile on my face too! But thanks for the compliment - this is definitely a place to come and share our successes and hear from people going through the same exact thing!
I can't remember what it's like to be warm.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

Grim_Traveller - you have a DOUBLE whammy! You live in the Northeast AND you're skinny! I can imagine having lost 289 lbs you shiver a lot more than you used to :) And sweat a lot less lol!
Spring is coming, spring is coming, spring is coming (I repeat this over and over in hopes that it's true). I actually cleaned out all of my sweaters and blazers that are too big from my closet today, as if to say, "Damnit, it's going to be warm and I won't ever need these again!". The power of positive thinking, perhaps?
