What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
I love, love, love tuna steak. I made one last week for dinner for the first time, and my husband thought it was great! If it were just for me, I would have left it rare in the middle, but he's completely anti-sushi so I had to cook it through, but it was still delish. I made a lemon-butter-caper sauce to moisten it, and it was wonderful.

Hello, folks! I'm a little late to the party today, but I'll post here for accountability anyway. Good to see everyone, and thanks for all the great ideas for future meals! Today's a very unhungry day for me, I'm actually having to force down what I need to eat. I'm sure I'll miss times like this someday, but in the meantime it makes keeping up with protein a pain.
B: 1/2 C cottage cheese
L: 10 slices pepperoni
D: Crepeomelet: 1 jumbo egg, 1tbsp 2% milk, 2 ounces sirloin steak, 1 tbsp chopped shallots, 4 grape tomatoes, 2 asparagus spears, 1 Laughing Cow light cheese wedge and 2 tbsps mild picante sauce.
S: Jay Robb vanilla protein shake w/ 1.5 scoops
This will bring me to 610 calories, 75 protein, 15 carbs, 27 fat, and 8 sugar. A little shy on the protein from my goal, so I may throw in a slice of deli turkey or something if I can stomach it. (Do we have to say "If I can pouch it" now? That would sound so weird! )

Um yum! That omelette sounds pretty amazing! YUM again. I love shallots. Damn now I want an omelette for dinner. But I brought my leftover turkey taco meat to take to friends for dinner. They're awesome and were like "We are making soup but you can bring something if you want". Since I hate to waste, I figured might as well. They won't think I am weird or anything. Great job on the numbers today! I just had a decaf americano with a "spot of hot milk" (I was with a sexy Italian Scotsman and when he ordered that I followed suit) so I am going to delete the shake anyway so now I am at 87 g protein, 23 fat and 26 carbs. DAMN MILK! lol
Here's to drinking an Americano with a sexy Italian Scotsman! Damn, I want your life now. (Just kidding, I wouldn't trade my husbeast!)

Regina, I am so sorry! That must be so frustrating :( I have seen other people post about stalls and everyone's advice is always "stay the course, eat your protein, eat low carb, and move move move...and eventually the scale will move". I bet you will see no loss and then suddenly drop 8 in a couple of days. I know how frustrating it is. It's like last week when I went on vacation and abstained from anything off plan and lost a pound. But the scale then went down 2 and today it was up 1. But I know I am doing what I am supposed to so I will keep plugging along. Keep with it girl! You got this!
I am not overly freaked out about the scale.... YET! I do know that either I am getting shorter (which would be bad I am only 5'3") or my body is changing. My jeans are getting longer everyday! Thank GOD I don't mind looking like a 12 year old with rolled jeans and Vans LOL
Regina, I stalled for ten days when I was three weeks out, so just about the same time frame as you. I almost drove my poor husband crazy! "OMG! I still haven't lost anything! I'm eating 500 calories a day, HOW can I NOT be losing anything?! ^&@#*!" And then the weight loss started again. So hang in there, it WILL happen for you too!
