Hi all! Short and sweet today-keeping it to the basics since the weekend posts get very little traction, but this is my accountability :)

Tim Since Surgery: 15 weeks

B: egg beater omelette with onion, jalapeño, turkey meat, half a slice of muenster cheese

L: 1 Oz of rotisserie chicken with 1/2 tbsp of light mayo really filled me up

S: Syntrax matrix banana and cream protein shake with unsweetened almond milk (I have loved every single of the matrix sample pack I got on bariatric pantry!)

D: I am making either shrimp or langostinos (frozen from trader joes) in pesto (genovese) sauce also from TJs. May eat it with pasta zero shirataki "noodles"

This will bring me to 550 calories and 64 g of protein. I may also find a way to eat the other 2 Oz of rotisserie chicken salad to up protein

E: none. It's raining. I'm a total couch potato today

V: multi, D, and calcium down the hatch

W: ugh. I'm 16 Oz in. Drinking starts now!

Whats on your menu?

B-Pinto beans and cheese

that's it... I have no clue what else I will eat today.  I am getting board with my soft food diet.

Google the ricotta bake recipe from Eggface on this site! I really got by with tuna made with light mayo, egg salad, cottage cheese, and Greek yogurt. Plus ricotta cheese quickly nuked with savory spices since I got soooo tired of sweet food!

I made the ricotta for dinner last night.  I am thinking that might be lunch.  It is yummy!

After weeks of super clean eating and medical issues that have caused all sorts of strange food restrictions, I am really struggling today.  I have been doing awesome with no cravings or mindless eating.  Today has been rough.  My food has been okay but I am feeling really deprived and wanting something new to eat.  I was glad I saw this post because I bet it will help me think this through a bit and make a good plan for tonight.

B:  2 eggs with broccoli and peppers

S:  almonds

L:  4 oz salmon, roasted zucchini and steamed broccoli, salad with olive oil and lemon juice

S:  almonds

S:  veggie beef soup (just a tiny amount cabbage carrots onions and celery in beef stock)

Okay, I just ate the soup and it was really tasty and just what I needed.  I am going to make curried chicken salad for dinner.  I think.  And I will have it with a big spinach salad.

I think that I am struggling today because we were out and about and I was exposed to all sorts of food that I couldn't eat and that always sortof sucks.  Also my mother was here all day and well, that is stressful.  But my mother is gone, I am back home and can make all sorts of delicious food.

Have a great night everyone!

CA-razy week here. Thank God for the weekend!!

Brunch: late because of a fasting lab draw, so protein shake

D: 1 BBQ pork rib

S: because I seem to be having a small pouch day, I'll probably nurse another protein shake while watching the NCAA tourney.

E: bleh

W: never a problem

V: 1 more dose and alarm is set.

Everyone's food sounds good.  Won't elaborate on mine since it is pureed. Not so bad though. I did bake ricotta and pureed spinach layered and then topped with a spoon of smooth marinara sauce for lunch. Pretty good!

S: 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop strawberry protein powder, scoop of miralax(I need help!)

D: 2 oz ground sirloin taco meat, 1/2 oz 2% cb cheddar cheese, droplet of sour cream, lettuce, salsa

786 cals, 88 g protein, 36 carbs, 37g fat, 10g fiber

Starting to pack for our vacation! We will be in a warm climate so I need to get my hubby up in the attic to get my smaller spring and summer tubs down. Excited to see what I have. I haven't opened up those tubs In years! Will feel so nice to try them on and they fit. My goal is to lose 6 lbs this week so I can hit 210 before I see my family. I went to visit them right before I had surgery. If I can hit this number then I will have lost close to 75 pounds since then.

V: on track

E: 30 min elliptical, So far I hit my goals of trumping the steps from the previous day but it is getting harder. I really have to work at getting more steps in. Parking far away in the parking lot. Today when I took my kids to the movies I walked the lobby and got 2,000 steps in there before the movie!

W: need to get on it!
