Hello everyone! Hey DC! I felt the exact way when I went to the eye doctor last month! Lol I'm excited about getting on a plane 75 pounds lighter. I won't feel so bad for the person next to me this time... Going out to replenish my vitamins today. My menu is boring today. Trying to clean out fridge.

Time since surgery: 14 weeks 6 days

B: 3oz grilled pork loin chops Just using up leftovers.

S: half lemon with salt

L: 2oz ground sirloin, cheddar cheese, salsa, romaine lettuce Again with the leftovers.

S: 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop strawberry protein powder

D: 3 oz grilled chicken nuggets

589 cals, 87 g protein, 20 carbs, 18 g fat, 6 fiber

V: on track

E: actually been hitting my 10,000 steps goal. On target to hit it today. Just try to trump the previous day even if it's by a few steps. 30 min on elliptical

Nice!  I am also watching my FitBit closely.  I forgot it when I went to work yesterday and I swear it bothered me all day that all my walking wasn't being logged!  I wish there was a way to glue it on lol.  It's about to be Spring Break for you, right?  Enjoy the spacious plane seat - it's going to feel huge being 75 lbs down!  That's one of the best NSVs (I think)!

Hi DC and fellow menu posters!

Spring is here too!  I just got back from a 5.5 km walk on my lunch (7,221 steps and 5.56 kms as per fitbit)  And the sun is beautiful and shining like crazy. I am feeling motivated and energized today!  Thinking of hitting some Goodwill's this weekend because I could not agree with you more DC about how with the right fitting clothes it just makes such a difference in how you look and feel. I have a pair of dark dressy jeans I wear at work on "Jeans Friday" and the compliments I get are unreal, they fit slim and I usually pair it with a nice bright colored top (pink, yellow, lavender) and it makes such a difference!  

I too have wondered since I have lost so much weight will I sweat as much or be as hot this summer.  Last summer almost killed me so I am really looking forward to see what this summer brings. I already get cold easy and I am always looking for a sweater or jacket, note it was NEVER like that before!!! LOL  

I LOVE, LOVE sashimi, I could eat that for all my meals and snacks if I could!!   And I have an eye doctor appt on Friday for a check up too, my boobs are smaller so I should fit in the chin thingy better too!! 

5 months post op (as of Apr 4/14)

B: two cups of black coffee with one Splenda each and then one cup of unsweetened almond milk with two scoops of chocolate protein powder

S: One Babybell and 6 red pepper strips

L: 3.5 oz Tandoori chicken wrap (opened the wrap up & just ate half the chicken and some lettuce & tomatoes it came with and will take the rest home)

S: One Babybel on the car ride home from work

D: 4 oz of BBQ chicken with one teaspoon of BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup mixed veggies (bell pepper & mushrooms grilled on BBQ)

S: 1/2 cup chopped up Cantaloupe sprinkled with Cinnamon (my fav thing in the world, feels like dessert to me!!)

Stats: 833 calories  34 carbs  99 Protein

Exercise: 5.5 km walk at lunch and will take dogs out when I get home so probably another 4-5 kms for a total of 10 kms for the day

Vitamins: Slacked today and got started late so trying to catch up but will get them all in

Water:  48 oz so far (drank lots of ice water on my walk) and more in the evening

OMG being a Northerner myself I know it's probably like 60 in Canada but it feels like the most glorious and gorgeous day ever, right?  That's so awesome that you got to go out and enjoy it!  Seriously let me know about your eye doc appt - it was such an unexpected and funny NSV!  I used to have to wriggle to get close but this time it was simple.  Made me giggle for sure :)

Canteloupe with cinnamon sounds quite delectable actually.  I had no idea cantaloupe would be in season now.  I haven't had fruit yet, since I am doing the "basically no carbs" thing but perhaps at some point.

My mouth is watering thinking of the tuna and avocado sashimi I will have tonight.  I did read that the tuna is now filled with the radioactive spill from the disaster in Japan last year, but somehow it doesn't faze me!  LOL

Hello Everyone, glad to hear so many people are enjoying such beautiful weather today.  I agree with you 100% DCgirl, I just went down a size in jeans (well started wearing the right size) and I'm getting so many compliments (well compared to the 0 compliments I was getting when I'd lost over 50 lbs and was wearing super baggy jeans).  Fit really does make all the difference.  Plus, I feel really good, even if no one else notices, which is a great motivator.

The sweating in summer thing is SO funny.  Honestly, it's the first summer in years I can remember being excited for b/c I'm thinking I won't be wearing sweatshirts to cover up all the while sweating to death underneath.  So, I'm hoping I can lose enough weight to feel comfortable in summer clothes.  Now I can just worry about things "normal" girls worry about, like frizzy hair caused by the heat and humidity :) LOL.

2 months, 2 weeks out

B - Danon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt

L - Thai Mint Shrimp (for anyone who likes Thai food I highly recommend this, it's got bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, mint and shrimp with Thai spices, it's was delicious and really low cal/high protein).

S - Premier Protein

D - Sashimi (I think some ahi Tuna and salmon sashimi with LOTS of wasabi)

W - Need to pick it up

V - On track

E - Not great, but I'm getting the steps in around the office today
