Hello everyone! Hey DC! Your meatloaf sounds yummy! Might have to steal your recipe! Lol

Ugh cold rainy day today. Brrr. At least it's not snow...

Time since surgery: 15 weeks

B: 3oz grilled pork loin chops  Last day for leftovers. Thank God!

S: half lemon with salt

L: 2oz ground sirloin, cheddar cheese, salsa, romaine lettuce Again with the leftovers.

S: 8oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop strawberry protein powder

D: not sure yet. I had a very late breakfast so not sure if I will fit it in today.

Last night at dinner was the first time I could not finish my food. I felt really full and couldn't take another bite...

Here are my stats without dinner.

513 cals, 70 g protein, 21 carbs, 19 g fat, 6 fiber

I did lose 4.6 pounds this week. I was excited to bust through my plateau finally. I wasn't at a  stall but it was going slow. A couple of things I did different this week were I eliminated nuts from my diet and I increased my steps. I think it was more steps that pushed me through. I even started this morning (sorry men) so I am anticipating a great weight loss next week! I have 2 more weeks until I see the surgeon and he is expecting to see me at onederland. Ahhhhhh 12 more pounds! I sure am going to try getting as close as I can....

V: on track

E:  On target to hit it today my 10,000 steps goal today. Cold and rainy today so I won't be able to walk outside today. Guess I'll clean house and see of I can get my steps in. Taught a deep water aerobics class this morning but my fitbit doesn't really measure a water class to well.

W: need to get on it.

Good Morning Everyone!  I wanted to share a little "trick" I've been experimenting with the last three weeks and for those of you in "stalls" it may be worth trying (and I apologize in advance if this is TMI).  So, I"ve had some real serious issues with constipation (like I know most RNY's do as well, especially early out) and I've tried EVERYTHING (myrolax, MoM, colace, benfiber, suppositories, etc. etc.) and being that I'm from CA I have a friend who swore that a shot of wheatgrass 4 -5 x's a week would be the answer to my prayers.  Turns out she might have been right.  I haven't changed a single other thing, and I try and get the wheat grass shot 4 times a week (1 oz, I stop at Jamba Juice on my way into work) has been a miracle worker. I literally am not taking anything else, no additional medications and things seem to be moving just fine now.

As an added side note, there have been a few times where I don't take the shot for a few days (like 3 days in a row) and I've not lost much weight (either no weight or like .2 lbs) and the day after I take the wheatgrass I lose a min of a lb.  Now this of course could be total coincidence, and I"m not using it to try and lose weight, it's just a nice little side benefit I"ve noticed as well.  Once again, could be a total coincidence, but it may be worth trying.  As far as the bathroom issues, I'm a convert.  I'll let you know if that changes, but it's worked miracles for me.  As a warning, it's gross, it taste like freshly mowed lawn.  But I am desperate so it's worth it. If anyone else tries it, I"d love to hear if it helps you too.

B - Greek Yogurt (and wheat grass)

L - Protein Shake

S - 13 Wasabi Almonds

D - Salmon Sashimi (4 oz)

W - Working on it

E - 1 hour walk at lunch

V - Ok

Cals - 539, Carbs - 27, Protein - 70

Hope everyone has a great day!

Thanks for the advice on busting through a plateau, you guys.  I know I am eating 700ish calories and working out 4-5 times a week and getting in my fluids, and I know the scale will move again.  But this last 1.5 weeks of hardly losing has been tough mentally.  Knowing it will move again, and not seeing it move is kind of a mindful*k!  I rely on Senolac (spelling?) which is a laxative and I take one or two every couple of days.

I'm staying the course and I know the scale will move soon. Great job queenbmamafranks on your 4.4 lbs!  And Jenn (ReginaPhalange) - yay that your jeans don't fit!!!!
