What's on the menu today, RNYers?
Good restraint, Sandra! Didn't it feel good to be able to stop after a few chocolate eggs?
I saw DCgirl's and AnnyBannany's menus so often with Syntrax Matrix and Nectar that I ordered some samples. I cannot wait to try them. I am sure after you see them posted a lot you will want to try them too. LOL! We have ways of subliminal messaging others important protein information. LOL!

To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

Good morning all. Em, I love that black and white striped top - OMG - super flattering!
I've been trying to get 20-25ish carbs in between breakfast and lunch (and not many more after lunch) to see if it helps with my energy and I've definitely noticed a difference. Now obviously, I'm also getting further out from surgery, so I'm not 100% sure which thing is making the difference, but I'm still normally 30ish carbs for the day AND I'm feeling more energetic, so I'm going to go with it.
Wearing a pair of (dressy) jeans from my "maybe one day these will fit again" collection - feels good! And yesterday I had my dad to punch a new hole in my favorite belt so I can keep wearing it a little while longer.

I saw "Splenda Brown Sugar" and suddenly nothing else in your post was important. There's a brown sugar version?!?!
Grats on fitting into the older jeans! It must be a great feeling, I'm sure!

Hahaha, there IS Pam! I bought it this weekend thinking I was going to put it on the roasted carrots I was taking to my family Easter dinner, but then decided to make a different recipe and didn't need it (I made the carrots but didn't actually eat them LOL).
As I said, I'm trying to get more carbs in in the AM, so the cream of wheat is a good option but it was so....UGH without the little bit of Splenda Brown Sugar and for 10 calories and 2 carbs - it's worth it to me.

Pam you are toooooo funny! I also have the Splenda Brown Sugar. When I was first out of surgery and eating a lot of plain oatmeal and cream of wheat I wanted a punch a flavour so I bought the Splenda Brown Sugar and sprinkled a bit on top and it was yummy! At my grocery store its right where they sell all the regular brown sugar. Happy Shopping!!!
