You see my MFP diary (eawilson21 for anyone who cares to) and you know I track even a tbsp of soy sauce ;)  I am with you - I think planning and tracking is key, Pam!

My surgeon is a nonsnacker too, but I simply cannot do it and get in all of my protein.  I just take his caloric recommendations & spread them out over the course of the day.  If I'm working, it's 3 meals and a snack.  If I'm not, I may eat 4-5 small meals per day.  The consistent thing is that I eat no more than 900 calories.

B: 100 cal yoplait greek yogurt

L: slice of meatloaf

D: another slice of meatloaf (I'm staying after work today for another PTO meeting ugh)

S: too much coffee and some dry roasted edamame

V: alarms set

I can't tell you how often I eat the same damn thing for days on end :)  Oh well, I am saving money (to spend on clothes apparently!) :)

Damn, I'm feeling good this week! My energy levels are up, I slipped into another "maybe one day it will fit again" outfit this morning and the weather is gorgeous - here's hoping both continue (rain might be in the forecast for this afternoon, but I won't let that get me down!). My abdomen does still feel like I did a million crunches a lot of the time, but it's fading little by little.

Time since surgery: 5 weeks today

B: 1/4 cup Light and Fit Greek Yogurt, 1/4 cup Cream of Wheat with 1/2 teaspoon Splenda brown sugar

S: Nectar protein shake

L: Egg salad made with 1 hard boiled egg (but only 1/2 the yolk) and LF mayo, LF cheese stick

S: Nectar protein shake

D: 1/4 chicken salad made with LF mayo, 1 oz. unsweetened applesauce from my Mama

S: Nectar protein shake

Totals: Calories 629, Fat 13.5, Carbs 21.1, Protein 102.7

E: a walk this evening if it isn't raining (guess this will be the push I need to join the fancy gym)

V: On my way

W: Started. Yesterday I finally got to 60oz - so hopefully I can continue this and get it up even further!

Bring on the snack discussion - I'm ready to take notes.

102.7grams of protein and 629 calories AnnyBananny! WOW! You go girl! Keep rockin' those old but new outfits. LOL! I know you look as great as you feel!

“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

Join the fancy gym!  Look at how little you are eating - you are saving all that money :)  Since my gym is fancy, I love going.  It doesn't smell like sweat, it's not dirty...it's like my oasis!

Doesn't it feel amazing to fit into those outfits?!  Not to mention, when you wear things that fit, people actually notice the loss!  I have had TONS of comments today because I am actually wearing new clothes that are my size.  A novel idea, right?  LOL.  Actually I love these pants - they were $21 at JCPenney so I figure I can buy them and wear them for a month.  Also, they are hot pink!  If that isn't fun, I don't know what is :)

Love the hot pink pants!

And yes, I'm going to join the fancy gym. It's actually a YMCA, but it is brand new and GORGEOUS (my old Y was, well, gross). They have a ridiculous number of classes and many I'm actually excited about trying - yoga, pilates, and the BES****er aerobics (though slipping into a swimming suit doesn't sound super appealing to me right now, I've loved taking classes in the past). I'm not cleared for more than walking right now - but I'm looking forward to being able to switch up the routine a little. There's wifi and tvs at every cardio machine, this = fancy to me!

I do some outreach work with this Y for the Library and I've been super impressed with the facilities and the staff I've met. I'm going to be there on Saturday for an event, so I'm going to join up then!

AND I just made arrangements with a colleague who lives about 2 blocks from me to meet up two mornings a week and walk on the track that's by our houses. Things are looking up for my exercise game.

That's so awesome!  Your gym does sound fancy!  Wifi at the treadmills?!  Damn, I am slumming it at my gym ;)

I love working out with other people too.  My issue is I don't maintain a consistent or fast pace walking outside.  I need the treadmill to moderate my speed and incline.  Apparently I am a structured person (psychotic food tracking, treadmill tracking) - who knew?!  Ha ha

I'm wondering about that issue for me with walking outside, but I think the accountability of having someone to meet will be good for me - so I'm going to give it a try.

I think by keeping track with my FitBit I'll be able to get an idea of how my pace is, etc. when walking outside.

Need to talk to my colleague though, because right now I'm still pretty slow - I don't know that we'll be able to walk together necessarily as I think I'll hold her back right now. Hmmm....
