What's on the menu today, RNYers?
Ya'll are welcome to visit, anytime! Seriously. We have extra bedrooms and everything. Just let me know ahead of time, and don't expect any pierogies, golubki or paczki! Nor any pasta or pizza.

lets start planning now, Chicago here we come! You know we would have a BLAST. I am totally serious about this and will do it if anyone else wants too! The new me is up for travelling, visiting, shopping, making new friends and having some girl time/RNY pals time of people who "get it". We can talk off line if you want and make some plans.
I'm totally in! In all seriousness I travel all the time and why not have a little Midwest meet up shopping spree?! We can all help each other pick out shirts to disguise our bat wings :) We could rent out an apartment through airbnb so we have a kitchen and make Pam cook! Lol
ive never been to Chicago and not had deep dish pizza. Do not let me even walk by a place like that!

I am glad you have so many bags.I felt bad after I emptied my closet the clothes kept coming.I counted my shoes and I think I have over 30 pairs of them.
B:half of a power crunch bar
L:Piece of chicken on salad
D: Pork tenderloin in the crockpot with sugar-free peach preserves with a side of really cooked veggies.
Vitamins done half water I am working on.
Mmm, I love pork with fruit! That sounds like a crockpot item I need to put on my "to cook" list.

I know what you mean.I have a spent a ton on clothes. Now I only buy one thing or two and wear the heck out of them.I am going to go thrift shopping this weekend to see if I can find a dress for a business dinner meeting. My shoes really aren't any bigger really.I have a pair of Poetic license shoes I just look at in the box till I get to my closer to my goal weight.
Nice work on giving the clothes away! I know the women's charity place will welcome them with open arms. Do not worry about getting in your protein you know it is highly important. As long as you make it a priority you will achieve it. Oh, Emily highlights and a pedicure! You are taking this trip seriously! I am sure you are beautiful! Do not worry about your hair. No one else will notice-only you know it is coming out. Just up your protein even more than regular. and is supposed to help during this stage. Might I also recommend hair, nails, and skin vitamins during this time? I heard they really work. I do not know. It might be worth a shot. (Just remember it is normal for WLS patients to go through a hair loss stage.)
I had a horrible stomach ache last night because I ate a bowl of cereal and milk. I do not want to do that again. I forgot the last time I ate one it happened to me too. UUGGHHH! I was miserable! Lesson learned. My husband was supposed to remind me but he was already napping so he could not. Well, I suffered through it. It was bad. The raisin bran was not worth it. I pray I remember this feeling next time I want cereal! LOL! Don't you hate when that happens?

“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack
