What's on the menu today, RNYers?
Good morning Emily, Anny, Karen,3Bassethounds, and everyone! 3Bassethounds, do you mind telling what your name is? I got my first batch of meds. and vitamins down, on my fourth bottle of water, had a cup of coffee, drinking a frappuccino.
I've got some good, funny news this morning! You all know I have been walking and started at 2 miles. Went up to 2.5 miles the other day. I meet Mr. Beason this morning and he told me that 4 laps equal a mile not 6. So I have been walking more than I thought. So I went up one lap to walk 4 miles this morning in a little over an hour. I feel good!!!! Thought I would share!
Anny I am sorry about your water aerobics class but thrilled and encouraged you went to the gym and took advantage of it and did not waste the night. I am proud of you for not making an excuse not to bail out. Karen, I am weeding my flower garden and mopping today, too. I noticed you like edamame also. They are a nice substitute for nuts I think and not as many calories. Emily, have you tried the pouched tunas? I like the convenience of them and the seasoned ones are pretty good for a change.
Oh, I almost forgot! I got on the scale this morning and I lost 2.4 lbs. that I gained from upping my calories. I am at 126 lbs. Still above goal but a work in progress!
Well enough chit chat, here's what's on the menu:

“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

That's too funny about the track - you've been working harder than you knew. That's awesome that you're upping the distance so quickly - go you !

Sara, grats on the loss! I know you've been worried about that, good to see your scale cooperating with you.
And grats on the exercise, isn't it nice to know that you've been doing more than you thought, and not less?

Hey Karen, I have to admit - I was pretty proud of myself for still going even though I was bummed! It really IS a whole new me.

PAM! GO YOU! I'm so glad you're hitting the gym today and working the plan you and your trainer devised. That is sooooo cool.
