What's on the menu today, RNYers?
Good morning everyone! Little one was up at 7 all dressed up in her new glass slippers, fairy wings and tutu! Lol love how 4 year olds dress! I am happy she is starting to dress-up. She may have a smart mouth but she sure is *****y! Ok enought bragging about my kid!
oh! My little NSV: my sister was being well a younger sister and it got to me. I almost let it ruin my day. I got really grumpy and was snapping at everyone, but I decided to get my workout clothes done and take my grumpyness out on the treadmill. Boy it felt great! I even ran at a 6mph at one point!
My eats for today:
breakfast: (grrr scale got to me and I didn't care what I ate!) honey bunches of oats, banana and milk. Coffee with creamer
Yay for you for transferring all that negative energy into exercise instead of turning to food or some other not-so-healthy behavior! That's a definite NSV, right?
I hope you ate more than just breakfast!

That looks like you're setting up for a great day, Regina, even without the dinner figured in yet. Do you have any idea where you'll go eat to celebrate your hubby's birthday yet? I ask because I've found it helpful to look up restaurant menus in advance whenever possible and make my choices beforehand. It sure helps me stay on track when I get to the restaurant, hungry and smelling everything good, but already knowing what I'm going to have.

Your Food Diary For:
Wednesday, May 7, 2014That all looks good, JLS! I love sausage for breakfast, but now it's nice to be satisfied with one or two patties or links. I had a response for you on yesterday's thread, btw, hope you got to see it.
I like the idea of tracking vitamins like I've seen you and others do, I may just have to start doing that myself. I know there are carbs in my multi, for example, and it might be nice to see those logged.
Good luck with dinner!

Hello Friends! Here's me dragging in at the end of the day. Can't seem to get posting in early in the day as I am up at 5 and out by 6am. You are all doing so well with your exercise. I had better get hopping! Went to my local support group this evening and they had a psychologist there talking about eating disorders before and after WLS. It was a really good talk and a topic that I am painfully aware of since I have been a binge eater since my teens. I know that once the hunger comes back I am going to have to be very aware of my feelings about food and how I use it to reduce stress and give comfort. Working very hard right now to pay attention to the fact that even though I don't have hunger, I still have cravings and they are the devil, I tell you! Glad to hear you will be coming home soon Emily! You have done so well adapting to this trip. You should be very proud of yourself. Hey Pam, let me know how you like the water aerobics. That is something I have never tried. Sara and Anny, you two are the exerciser girls for sure!
Well here comes my menu. Tolerating chicken well. Very happy about that.
