What's on the menu today, RNYers?
ME TOO! I've left the FitBit a few times and I'm always sooo disappointed! Lately I've had the top number of steps for my friends list and I'm not going to lie, it's motivating, I want to stay there!
I have a Flex so it doesn't count flights of steps, I'm almost regretting going with it over the One. I might try to pawn my Flex off on my sister or mom and buy myself a One LOL. I live in a 3rd floor walk up, I want those damned flights of steps counted (ok, ok, like you Emily I know doing them is the important thing, but there's something about seeing it rack up that keeps me moving).

Hello everyone. Em, thank you for the kind words yesterday! Would would bring fruit, but deviled eggs sound good too! So, yesterday I jumped on the quest bar bandwagon and started out with the cookies and cream one..... OMG! where has this been all of my WLS life?! Who needs Oreos when you can eat this bar! I'm going to buy some more soon. It did make me feel alittle off because of the sugar alcohol, even though there was only 2 grams. Guess I'm alittle more sensitive then I thought. My body is odd, 2 things really make me sick; fruit/fruit juice and sugar alcohol but hand me a candy bar and some icecream and no problem! Anyways, today is going to reach 100 so I have to make sure I drink my water!
My eats:
breakfast: scrambled eggs mixed with the tri tip and asparagus leftover from last night and alittle bit of cheese yummy! Coffee with creamer
lunch: bought a RTD shake yesterday so I'm going to give that a try
dinner: turkey burgers no bun for me and a salad
snacks: string cheese, quest bar, Greek yogurt
totals: cals: 1034 carbs: 59 protein: 114 I just might be getting the hang of this!

E: I am so sore from yesterday but I'm going back!

Isn't it amazing we can go from being totally sedentary to now being sore and still dragging our sorry a$$es back to the gym! Way to go, with five exercise classes this week! I haven't tried the RTD shake but I know people seem to like them.
Your comment on the Quest bar is why I haven't tried one. Sounds like crack to me! Delicious crack, but crack nonetheless ha ha. I also have really lost the craving for sweets. Now if Quest can make a pizza flavored bar, I would be alllllll over that!
I think deviled eggs is my final decision. Sounds quick and easy and I can bring 2 dozen and call it a day! Your protein numbers are phenomenal btw. I have to take a page out of your book. I couldn't eat all of my chicken at lunch so my numbers have lowered. I better get back on it!
Let me just say the kind I grabbed was hard for me to drink... I pushed myself to drink it all but it took some willpower. I ended up coming home and grabbed my yogurt because I didn't feel satisfied and it was time to eat the bar yet. I am on the fence about the gym not because I'm sore but because it is HOT outside and I don't want to leave the house again......... And she will make us run outside........ Wish me luck!

MY Food Diary For: 11 weeks post op. And up 2 lbs. in this week! UGH!!! I can’t seem to hit the -50 and now I am gaining!! My diet is boring. I keep my carbs to less than 25g per day. I started adding some cooked veggies into my diet 5 days ago. I am struggling with my water intake…. Am I just freaking out for no reason???? I keep saying that everyone has a different journey and I should be happy with my weight loss. But 8-10 lbs. a month seems very slow for being in the “honeymoon period”. Should I be worried???

A few pounds a week is good/normal after a few months. I think I lost in double digits for the first four months then never again. It adds up fast. I was at goal in 13 months
