Hey Regina - I am also seeing the loss slow wayyyyy down...I don't even think I will do 14 lbs this month (month 5 - have to weigh in on Friday to get my surgiversary official number).  I am also working out a ton.  I find that my weight can fluctuate depending on my salt intake, my TOM, and DEFINITELY get tha****er in.  No excuses (as people here say to me about my lax vitamin schedule lol).  Flavor it with Mio drops, add some crystal light powder, add some Syntrax nectar powder, buy some protein hot chocolate on mybariatricpantry.com ... doesn't matter how, but get those fluids in. For real, everything I have read says that we should be closer to 100 oz a day.  People make fun of me because I always have a bottle of ice water with me, and sometimes I just don't feel like plain water, but plain water isn't as bad as spilling over into someone else's plane seat, or having knee pain, or the myriad other things that prompted us to have WLS :)  So get going on the water, chica!  And almost 50 lbs in 11 weeks is amazing.  I am just over 100 lbs lost in 20 weeks so we are very similar (and you really can't compare to anyone, but I am just saying that almost 50 lbs in 11 weeks is great).  

Maybe it will be helpful to do a test.  Weigh yourself tomorrow and then for one week get 100 oz of fluids a day, stay low carb, high protein.  See if a week from now you have experienced a good loss.

100oz of water!!  I how?...   I have something to drink with me at all times ,unless eating.    I am lucky to get 50 in!   Maybe I my sips are to little.  ;0).   I will mKe more of an effort to drink more!  I am on week 3 of couch to 5 k.   Thanks for talking me off the ledge. I am being a bit overly dramatic today. Lol.

I am LOVING GWeenie bee!  I hAve 3 dresses at home and I can't decide which ones I want to send back.  I LOVE THEM.

Yes!!! Take way bigger sips. I can easily drink 80 Oz + a day. Give it a try! And trust me, I hear you on being dramatic. I went over calories today and now I'm convinced my weight loss is stalled haha. We are all a little crazy ;)

I am doing the 3 items out which is perfect. I work betweeN 2 offices so It looks like I have new dresses every day.  But I am stuck now because I love all 3 that I have checked out....

how long before meals do you stop drinking?

Such a good problem to have :) a month from now, one or more of those dresses won't fit so you will have to send it back lol. 

I drink right up to my meals and then not for 30-45 minutes after. I know there are multiple schools of thought re: stopping drinking before meals but my NUT just says no drinking for 30 mins after :)

My nut says no drinking 30 min before and 30 min after meals. Figure in time to eat at 30. Min a meal.  That's 4.5 hours a day I can't drink.   Not working for me.

Hi all, I totally agree with deviled eggs or a cold cypresse pasta salad (shells, balsamic vinegar, mozzarella balls, fresh basil, and tomatoes)

i am am thinking about getting a fitbit or the like- anyone have recommendations?

 

b- 2oz turkey 2 oz ham roll up

l- protein shake

d- shredded chicken burrito without the tortilla, 1 oz Mexican rice and small salad. 

Snack- ff/sugar free cheesecake pudding 

 

w- 60oz 

v- all done :)

I am personally obsessed with my FitBit One!  It tracks steps and stairs....I clip it to my bra (though you can clip it to your pants) and I love love love it!  It totally motivates me!  I wouldn't get a Nike Fuel Band as they just disbanded that whole department and are eventually going to partner with Apple on a product but for now, Fuel Band is dead.  Some people like the FitBit Flex that is a bracelet.

I do low/no carb so no shell pasta for me, but you have clinched it - deviled eggs it is!  Everyone likes 'em (including me) so I know they will be a hit!

I'll second the FitBit - I'm also obsessed with mine! I have a Flex and like it a lot, though as I was saying in an earlier post today, I often wi**** counted flights of stairs like the One does - so I'd slightly lean in that direction to tell the truth. Well worth the money for sure.
