Medicare Vitamins Question
Is there such a thing as oil based calcium or iron?

IDk, but the vitamin D and multi were both oil, (and the multi was huge). The b-12 was a very gross, hard chewable, and the iron was a generic green very hard tablet that had to be broken in half, but the other half got totally smashed to bits and not really palatable on a regular basis. Wound up taking pictures of that and attaching to the appeal. Took several years to get bariatric advantage reimbursed. ( I learned how to appeal vitamins when i got diagnosed with anemia, prior to WLS). My experience has been that the ones that get approved are really poor quality. I just kept appealing and finally, finally, finally got them to reimburse me for ones I could actually absorb.
