Thanks LiViAnN, yeah I"m excited to go to Korea.  I spoke with Tdbull (she recently came back from a trip to China) and she said grilled meat and veggies were pretty easy to find.  So I'm hoping that's the case for the trip.  Honestly, I'm a total skin care/product junkie.  I mean, I love to buy new skincare products and I know Korea is the hot spot for all new products right now (hello BB and CC creams).  So when I'm not working I fully intend to spend all of my time in the equivalent of a Korean CVS, lol!  I already have a list of 45 different products to be on the lookout for.  My bag is going to be so much heavier on the way back :)  I will be spending all of time in Seoul, is there anything there that you recommend checking out?  Any particular spots that are must see?

Good morning ALL -

I just wanted to chirp in and say that I've noticed it is quieter on OH lately. Probably the warmer weather and also people like me *****ad daily but don't post as much. I did want to tell ya'll that this post is the one I check/read daily...I love reading the menu's, which I then use to help me make up my weekly shopping list and try some great new ideas. I also love the chit chatting amongst friends on the post. It's great that you touch on all different topics related to "living" a healthy lifestyle from clothes, travel, gym and therapy. You probably don't realize how many people you touch in a day's time - so a shoutout to you ALL.

Thanks to everyone for being so inspirational.

Hey Debb!  That is such a sweet note!  I am glad you like the post - and please feel free to add to it!  We welcome everyone.  And we would love to get some good ideas/inspiration from you.  So please jump in anytime!

Yeah maybe the weather has to do with it.  It's just kind of a bummer to see so little happening on the forums.

Hey Regina!  I don't normally have a day like that, but I will periodically have a meal like that.  Sometimes I can eat 3 oz of chicken no problem at all, and stop because I have measured it, and other times I can't even get 2 oz in.  It's weird.  Unfortunately it always seems to happen around other people who are then super concerned that I am not eating enough.  I hope you are able to get your protein in today :)  Good luck!

Hi everyone, its a Stat Holiday here in Canada so I am home from work and loving this amazing warm sunny weather. I just came in from cleaning out my car and had some lunch and thought I would see if this post was on or not, forgot you all don't have a holiday today

Emily I love, love the idea of a faux pizza, as like most of you on this post I really, really miss pizza but won't go there, but I could not stand cauliflower pre surgery so I am hesitate of trying it post surgery.  But if you swear it was good and you and I (and Pam) have a lot of the same tastes in food I will trust ya girl!!

Yay on the scale moving!  Moved for me too, another pound and so happy that now that I am feeling better, not 100% yet but almost there I am still losing and not gaining.  Yahoo!

Your balsamic vinaigrette chicken with goat cheese sounds divine that will be on my menu one day this week, I love those flavours!!

Have to tell you all that yesterday was an emotional day for me.  Hubby and I took our dogs to a provincial park and went hiking with them, lots of hills and difficult terrain.  Pre surgery I refused to wear the back pack back we bring with snacks, water bottles, dog dish, etc cuz it added weight to my already obese frame.  And I use to to pretty much ***** the whole time we hiked about my sore back, sore knees, I could not catch my breath, it was too hot and I was too sweaty, on and on and on.  Well yesterday it was like I have never hiked these trails before (although I have been hiking them for a few years now).  I felt like a completely different person, I carried the back pack the whole time, nothing hurt on me, I did not get out of breath once, I didn't sweat and I actually tired my slim super fit husband out!!!  For me that was a big deal to feel so amazing after a huge hike like that.  Just wanted to share.

6 months and 3 weeks post surgery (time is flying and I am freaking out my "honeymoon" phase is going to be gone soon)

Water - so far so good and about to go out and do some gardening and will bring more with me

Vitamins - AM done, PMs on alarms

Exercise - cleaned out my dirty car, gardening, cutting grass, laundry (up & down stairs) walk with the dogs later

B: cup of black coffee with one Splenda

L: 1/2 cup of "Garden Vegetable" egg beaters made into scrambled eggs

S: two babybel cheese

D: 4 oz of grilled chicken breast on the bbq and 1/2 cup summer sweet peas

S: one cup of unsweetened almond milk with one scoop of Syntrax Matrix Cookies n Cream protein powder

Stats: 585 calories  14 carbs  85 protein

Have a awesome Monday friends!!!

Daisy! What a wonderful NSV about your hike! Or should I say several NSVs rolled together - you must be feeling so proud, as you should!

Do Garden Vegetable eggbeaters come with veggies IN THEM or is it something you put together?
