I will! They keep posting all this limited time food and I'm trying so hard to stay on track! I bought some quest bars today. And I will allow myself one fried and sweet treat a day. Wish me luck!

Good afternoon to everyone.  We are finally enjoying some temps over 50 for a few days so we took full advantage over the weekend buying flowers for the yard and attending a music festival downtown on Saturday.

I've decided carbs and I just can't be friends, not even a little bit.  I had some at dinner Friday night and the scale was up 3lbs the next morning after consistently losing all week, so my weight loss for the week is zero.  No complaints here, I didn't gain, so I'll take it.  Back to basics again.

Time since surgery: 11 years

B: Hard boiled egg, 1/4 c cottage cheese, 2oz canned chicken

L: Leftover enchilada bake, broccoli

S: Protein shake

D: Chicken cordon blue casserole, salad

V: Done

W: Work on it all day

E: Meeting trainer/physical therapist for an hour tonight.

I don't think carbs and I can be friends either :(  I am going to try your cauliflower hash browns one day soon, especially since I am obsessed with the cauliflower pizza crust.  Good for you for coming back to basics.  I bet you will lose those 3 lbs again in a couple of days.  It's a constant battle, and one all of us know way too well :(  But it's great you are posting, you are counting, you are getting tons of protein, and you are working out!  I, for one, am super proud of you and am inspired by your diligence eleven years post-op!

I agree with Emily. Definitely impressed with your diligence . It is so good for newbies like me (2months post op) to read the posts of veterans. Thank you!

HI Everyone,

This is by far the best OH thread!  I love that it is so popular and there is so much great input.  It is fun to see everyone's meals.  Really this thread is the only reason I visit OH much.  I do belong to a few WLS Facebook groups and those are pretty active (my tiny tank community & bariatric cafe if anyone wants to look them up).

Here is what I have going so far.  I am not sure about the dinner menu yet.

Sandra, I love this thread too (well, I guess that's obvious lol).  I am so glad you do too!  I have never tried canned chicken - is it good?  Do you make chicken salad kind of like tuna salad?  I also haven't tried Isopure (I have been doing Syntrax) but I see it on a lot of menus so I may have to try it!  I hope your Curves workout was great!

Hello friends. Seems that Pizza is the topic of the day. I feel right at home because I have been craving it too. So for dinner tonight a made a flat out pizza. OMG, it was divine. Couldn't eat the whole thing and even though I listed a protein drink as my snack, I'm just not gong to be able to drink it. Too full. Emily, definitely going to try the cauliflower pizza crust!I am very impressed with everyone's exercise routine! Mine is somewhat more lame, I guess you can say. Walking mostly but have been doing some serious yard work. I really need to step it up!Very glad to see Pam back on here. I was worried about you! Still so loving this thread. Look forward to it every day!

Hey Kim!  Mmmmm your menu looks pretty awesome.  Do you like the turkey pepperoni?  I just bought them but haven't tried them.  I read one post that says the person puts them on paper towel and microwaves them until they are crunchy, like chips!  I was planning to put them on a piece of cauliflower pizza.  I may try them later this week, but I am curious what you think.

I am glad people are back posting too - glad Pam is feeling better, and I did check in on Sara and she has been taking care of her father-in-law but is doing ok and will be back posting soon!

Now I am going to have to check out these flat-out wraps :)

Yes I love Turkey Pepperoni but have never microwaved it. That is a great idea and I will definitely try it! I actually like the turkey version better than the regular greasy stuff. MUCH better.

Glad you checked on Sara. I was wondering where she has been. She is such a sweetheart and I'm glad she is ok. Hope her father in law is too.
