What's on the menu today, RNYers?
I'm totally liking the Green Chili Cheese Puff! I highly recommend it. The only thing I'm not loving about it is that the scallions didn't get cooked very well so they're almost crunchy, I might saute them a little when I make it again. I love the consistency of the dish. Tonight I'm going to experiment with wrapping individual pieces in parchment paper and then putting them in a freezer bag to freeze because I know I won't finish all 12 servings before it spoils (one of the many reasons I should find myself a husband, too many leftovers!).
I am a suuuuuuper fast knitter. Even when I'm not knitting obsessively, like with this project, I knit fast. I'm a throwing. I actually wrap my knit stitches the wrong way, but didn't find out until I had been knitting for a few months and by then it was too hard to retrain myself. We also decided that since I do it consistently wrong, whatever!

Hey Anny - I am with Janessa - when I upped my calories (to normally between 800 and 1000) I have continued to see loss. You are doing so much exercise that your body probably needs them. And you don't want to be stuck in maintenance with lower calories for maintaining...
I think if you are somehow getting too few calories in for lunch, I would also agree...use regular cheese (more calories) or add a slider food like avocado to a meal of 3 oz of chicken...things like that? My MFP diary is open so you can see how I structure my meals and how many calories each meal has. I can easily eat a 250 calorie meal lol. Maybe that's not a good thing...
Regardless, the scale will move. You are doing what you are supposed to, and as everyone told me during my last plateau, your body is just adjusting. Stay the course, wear a super cute new dress from GB, and hold your head up high while you wait for the scale to move again! Hugs! Em
Oh god, trust the process - soooooo hard! But you're right! I know! I know!
I've upped my calories goal on MFP to 800 and I'm going to work on incorporating more meat into my regular diet. I'm also a big fan of "fancy" cheese like goat, brie, etc....so I'm going to pick up a few options at Trader Joe's later in the week - those will be full fat and I think a good way to get in some more calories.
ANNNNNNNNND, I sent back ALL my GB stuff yesterday, so I have to wait for my next items. I keep checking to see what's coming next, though obviously it will be a few days before I know!

Thank you guys! I think when I got out of my "fog" and truly looked at myself and realized that I was obese again it hit me hard! I think it was harder to accept that than the weight gain! I am getting frustrated how slow things are going but than I look back and realize that I have lost 3lbs this month and 15 over the past 6 months! And more importantly I am becoming a more healthier person. I love going to the gym now! That was not me 6 months ago! I spent half of the month at the gym in May and that was with a week off! Lol! You guys are such a huge help with this struggle and thank you DCgirl for starting this daily post!
