Oy is right!  It's always nice to be validated, however...so in a way it's good that others can see the psychosis lol.

I am sorry you are missing your gym class but I know you can stay on plan - it's not like the guests won't benefit from healthy, protein forward meals - a benefit for all!

Good call on the takeaway but I had a shake for breakfast, just back from the gym, now will eat tofu, and shrimp fajitas for dinner are a go!

I know it sucks to not be planned but you know what to do and when you fill out MFP tonight you will see that you are within the guidelines :)  Good luck today and good luck with the new houseguests!!!!

Semper Gumby (LOL!)

Hi Pam, wow it sounds like things are intense for you right now. Unexpected/unplanned house guest always stress me out.  Still it sounds like you will get some good karma coming your way for helping them out of a less than wonderful situation.  Good luck with your new schedule, and hopefully everything is smooth sailing from here on out!

L: 1/4 cup low-fat chicken salad

D: 2oz rotisserie chicke, 1 Tb hummus

S: isopure bottle (40g protein)

E: 30 mins elliptical

V: on track

W: goal of 50oz

You are rocking this thing, Feather! I'm surprised you can tolerate deli meat, I still can't! You're lucky.

Yes, I'm grateful I can eat deli meat. I get the freshly shaved good stuff from the deli section at the store, it's much better than the pre-packaged stuff. I also love rotisserie chicken, that goes down well too.

I was the same, Feather!  I was allowed to start foods on day 14 after surgery and for lunch I had egg salad and for dinner I had half of a ground chicken patty.  After a month of shakes and jello and pudding, it was like heaven!  No intolerances so far...just the foamies when I eat too quickly or chicken is too dry!  Glad you are adapting to RNY life so well!

Some days I question whether or not I really had surgery lol! Other than getting full from little food, I really don't feel any different from my pre-surgery self (knock on wood).

Every time I see my surgeon I joke that I was in the placebo group :)  I also feel great and other than eating small amounts, nothing bothers me.  Not habanero peppers, not meat, not eggs, nada.  Knock on wood, right?!  But honestly I think that may be most people's experience...it's just that on a support website such as this you will find more people looking for support, so therefore it skews more towards people with complications.  I dunno, just a theory.  So glad you are feeling great!

Good morning all! Anny, I have been drinking coffee from day one and have had no issues. Well, almost, durning finals and hubby coming home after 17 months, I was upping the coffee and not the water... So hubby was home maybe a week and I devolved a kidney stone! Welcome home honey you get to take care of a 2 year old and me! But that was it and my own mistake. Drink away! I can't imagin my life without coffee!

My eats for the day:

breakfast: 2 eggbites, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese was planned but I was full so only ate half of it, coffee

lunch: on the run so going to grab a quest bar and enjoy some samples from costco (anyone have ideas on how to add that? Lol)

dinner: turkey taco Thursday!  I'll have alittle rice and one shell

snacks: protein shake with milk and a Greek yogurt

totals: cals:1085  carbs:92  protein:118 (carbs are alittle high but woohoo on the protein!)

w: working on it

v: done

e: taking a day off from bodyfit and jumping on the treadmill

ok I have a busy day ahead of me; dishes, laundry, shopping and ironing and cutting fabric! Enjoy the rest of your day!

You always have such active days!  Love it!

I also love Taco Thursday.  How fun to have those family traditions.

And now to go drink more water...a kidney stone does NOT sound comfortable!!!

Enjoy Costco - I love that place!!!
