Hello everyone! I have missed you and the interaction. I have had a lot going on. I hope and pray everyone is doing well. I have joined a book club and a Monday Bible study. We invite the group out to lunch afterwards and have a nice time catching up with one another. I have met some really sweet ladies and I am glad! One lady and I have become friends and have done a few things together. I did not know how thirsty I was for social interaction. It has been good for me since I am getting back to being the social butterfly I once was. It has been great for my mind, body and spirit. The doctors still have not gotten my medicines worked out yet for my bipolar disorder but I am supposed to hear something today or tomorrow for a new medicine. I am going Wednesday for an iron infusion since my iron has been low and will not raise enough with pills. I hope this will take care of some of my symptoms. The doctors still have not gotten my medicines worked out yet for my bipolar disorder but I am supposed to hear something today or tomorrow for a new medicine. It has been rough! BUT I am trying to stay busy to keep from getting worse. Well enough about me. I am sure you are bored and tired of the hearing about me. It will get better-I pray! Have a great day! Here is what is on the menu:

“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

Hey Sara! It's good to hear from you. I'm glad that you're getting the social interaction you'd been wanting, and that that's what has been keeping you busy and away from the boards. Keep working with your doctors, I'm sure they'll get your meds worked out soon!

3BH, I'm glad you're looking forward and not beating yourself up about the past. Yes, we're all works in progress, and all we can do is our best. Slip ups may happen at any time, but the right thing to do IMO is to learn from the mistake and press on. Good for you!

DCGirl, I eat pretty much the same thing everyday too! Lunch is different today though. It's good to listen to our bodies, if 1000 cals is what your body needs on workout days, then it's best to listen to it. Especially when all you're putting into it is good, nutritious calories. This surgery has given me the ability to listen to what my body really needs.
B: 2oz boars head turkey, 1.5oz muenster cheese
L: 2 chicken meatballs, 1/4cup peas, carrots, corn, green beans, 1/2tsp smart balance spread
D: ?
W: goal of 50 oz
V: on track
E: 30 mins lap swim
Feather, your meatballs make me think I'll make some and have them in the freezer ready to go! And I hear you about eating the same things. I've gone back and forth on this, but I think as long as we're eating the same *good* things, it's ok. Keep working at it, and work on tha****er intake. I know it's hard early on, but it's important to get as much water as you possibly can!
