What's on your menu today, RNYers? Monday
Thank you, Anny! I feel like I have a lot to smile about these days.

Glad you're enjoying your London stay! Sounds like you're doing great with plan as well.
I had a friend's wedding this weekend. I had to guesstimate what I was eating, but my eye is getting pretty well trained on what 2-3 oz of meat looks like. I had about 2 oz of chicken and about 1/2 cup of spinach salad with some sort of mustard vinegrette - and was totally satisfied. Then I danced my butt off! I saw some friends I haven't seen in several months, I got some complements, which was really nice.
B: 2oz boars head turkey, 1oz muenster cheese, 1tsp light mayo
L: 2Tb FF refried beans, 2oz ground beef, 1Tb low-fat shredded cheese
D: ?
W: goal of 50oz
V: on track
E: 30 lap swim
Happy Monday all!
Hi all, I'm also reporting from a business trip, though mine is in exotic Camp Hill, Pa, so it's much more exciting than London . So far the workshop has been incredibly enlightening and stimulating. I have ideas for a staff workshop, a managers retreat and a workshop for my Board of Trustees - and I'm not even 24 hours into the program.
Things have also been pretty WLS-friendly as well including dinner last night having a very simple boneless, skinless chicken breast with a lemon herb rub and steam veggies, yogurt at breakfast, and a Mexican buffet at lunch today. Tonight is a picnic after a ropes course (ugh), so I'm hoping there will be some ok options there. I have a protein bar in my bag just in case.
There was also organized exercise this morning for anyone interested. So a group of us met in the lobby and embarked. Some jogged, most of us walked, then we stretched together at the end. Tomorrow the leader has HIIT intervals planned, though it's in the hot and sunny parking lot, so I'm considering the bike in the fitness room instead....
i was was really tempted to bring my scale with me, but decided a forced time away from it would be good....I think.
hope everyone has a great day, don't think I'll get to check in again.

I forgot to mention an NSV...we all have matching tshirts to wear to this ropes course - well we ordered them a few weeks ago, so I just went with an XL and I'm swimming in it!!! Totally wish I could look a little cuter, but it also feels so good knowing I'm an L now, at lets when it comes to men's tshirts LOL.

Aww, I bet you look totally cute anyway! Tie a knot in the hem of the shirt, I see people doing that all the time. But even without that, what a great NSV! Hope you enjoy the ropes course, although I second the "ugh!"

Ugh. I can't say I hated it, but I didn't love it either. It was just hot and buggy. The main thing was I felt confident in my body and strength and I participated in all the activities, so that was an NSV for me!
