Not boring at all, Grim!  Your protein numbers kick my ass.  Seriously.  I think I have been over 100 g of protein like four times.  It's clearly the winning solution.  You are still my hero for your weight loss :)

I couldn't make it to lunch so I ate my tuna at 11:30!  Now I have to sneak a snack in.  Maybe some chickpeas - which YOU turned me on to!

GOAL REACHED!!!  How amazing does it feel to have a ticker that says goal weight reached?!?!?!  GO YOU!  Joan, I am so proud of you!!!

Thank you!  Yes I am quite happy with the 6 lbs.  I missed weighing in on my six month surgiversary so in a couple of weeks I will track how I did in month 7.  It definitely slows down!  Your menu is always right up my alley!

Good morning all! I feel like this week has been kicking my ass! And unfortunately there's no end in sight, so I'm going to be sort of a whiny mess for a few weeks.

I finished my ESL tutor training last night and have officially been matched with a student. Her name is Nga and she's from Vietnam. She's been in the US for about 6 months and tested as a high beginner (which basically means she speaks and reads very little, but has very basic communication skills). I haven't meet or spoken with her yet, but will be calling her this weekend to set up our first tutoring session!

Aaaaand...I'm finally down to single digits in my count down to new sneakers! I joined the fancy Y 7 weeks ago on Saturday and told myself after I went 50 times TO THE GYM that I could buy new sneakers (so I'm averaging SIX times at the gym a week, now that is definitely something I wouldn't have done 4 months ago). After my visit tonight I'll have 8 more visits!

Time since surgery: 15 weeks

B: 3oz cottage cheese, 1 mini whole wheat muffin

S: coffee with half and half, Nectar protein shake

L: Flatout Pizza with turkey pepperoni

S: roasted chick peas, babybel lite

D: Quest bar (I'm babysitting my nieces tonight so I need really quick and easy)

S: Protein shake and my addiction, SF popsicle

TOTALS: Calories 844, Protein 105, Carbs 59, Fat 29

V: on track

W: need to step it up

E: headed to the Y for the elliptical, can't get to water aerobics though *sad face*

HOLY CRAP, Anny!!!  I am beyond impressed.  I love your mini goal - 50 gym trips = new shoes is amazing!  Sounds like you will have new shoes in 9 days.  I got fitted for shoes at a running store and I ended up with Asics.  I love them!

Sorry work has gotten so crazy.  I am in the midst of some crazy.  But I am switching jobs so have some new crazy coming my way.  Will post about that one of these days!

How awesome that you are tutoring someone.  Lucky her!

Seeing your menu, now I want to make cauliflower pizza crust for dinner!  Ha ha.

Have fun with your nieces - I know how much you adore them!

And I meant to say THANKS for keeping the post up and running these last weeks.  Would love to share posting duties with you going forward!  And anyone else who feels like starting it :)
