Kim!!!  You are halfway to goal!  NICE!  Way to go!  That's a great idea to host and control the menu.  I do the same thing.  I have zero issues serving goods I won't eat...as long as there are protein options for me :)  I am going to a roof bbq on the 4th to watch the fireworks over the National Mall and I will bring chicken perhaps.  I can't wait til everyone leaves town - DC on a holiday weekend is the BEST because it's more empty than usual and just awesome.  Now I want avocado after reading your menu....YUM!

WOW you are at goal and still eating so high in protein and so healthfully!  Protein shake for breakfast and greek yogurt for lunch!  No wonder you look so damn fabulous!

Sorry to hear your arthritis is bothering :(  I am so glad you have an appt tomorrow - ask for an infusion stat.  From what I understand from reading posts on here, an iron infusion will make you feel SIGNIFICANTLY better.  Maybe they can hook you up right at your appt :)

Hey Renee!  I also have to plan plan plan to make good choices.  I can normally fill out my MyFitnessPal daily menu the night before.  Because I have shopped for it, weighed it, bagged it up, and planned it.  Glad to have you on the post.  Carbs are the devil...why do they have to taste so damn good...sigh...

I shouldn't say they are the devil, but my favorite ones are (pasta, pizza, baguettes).

I hate those lazy scales :)

Oh and Renee - without knowing your body type, I am assuming that you can totally wear pants!  Even if you have a pooch, there are pants for every body type.  Granted, I am trying to figure out my best pants, so it may take some searching, but give it a try!

Hi all,

it's 6:44 California time so some of you are down for the count. Em, I have lost so much top weight, but my stomach area, well hidden is still too pouchy for pants. I haven't worn any in about 25 years' I'm guessing. I'm kinda looking forward to trying some on, but have NO ideas what size I'm wearing in pants yet.

ive got to start posting meals, cuz I keep slipping into bad habit, eating carbs before proteins. So this is my planned menu for tomorrow

Breakfast: premier protein shake

Lunch: carb master yogurt, frigo light string cheese, and 2 oz. deli turkey

Dinner: Ground beef 4 oz, 1 cup lettuce, 1 oz sharp cheddar cheese, 3 sliced of tomatoes, salsa verde

snack: 2 oz kroger teriyaki beef jerky

Cal-962, carb-32, protein-118, fat-44

gonna stay on target. Scale is getting a bit lazy and doesn't want to work :)

night all
