Who else cannot eat eggs anymore?

I use to LOVE eggs!  I would tear them up!!  Scrambled, fried, poached, boiled.....I would eat them all the time.  About 2 weeks after surgery, I tried a lightly scrambled egg and I got so sick for over 2 hours!  Throwing up and everything. it was awful!  And here it is, 16 months later and I have not had a single egg since that dreaded day.  I can't even look at them.  I get nauseated with one glance.  SO sad. I used to LOVE them.

I have not gotten sick from them, but I eat one bite and it is just YUCK!! I have cooked them all kinds of ways, even egg salad which I used to love and yuck.

I am 8 years post-op. Eggs and I had a very bad break up post-op that lasted about 5 years until we were able to reconcile. We are on quite good terms these days. ;)

Scrambled eggs were horrible for me at first, so after about a year I was able to eat them fried over-medium.  If they don't work for you, don't worry about it.

I eat a scrambled egg and 1 egg white for breakfast every day, cooked at home.  But, for some reason, I cannot eat eggs from a restaurant, they are too fluffy (mine are flat)  I don't know what restaurants do to eggs, but I cannot eat them.

I am 10 years post-op from a VBG. I have kept 130 lbs off and remain at normal weight. I have found from early on that I don't tolerate yolk well. I am fine with the white and Eggbeaters. Also, white pasta is rough, but wheat pasta is fine. No Yolks egg noodles are fine as well. I've just learned to accept it. I'm fine with it.

I used to like eggs, but since surgery I really don't like the taste anymore. The only way I'll eat and egg now is hard boiled with a little salt. During my soft food stage I thought I wanted scrambled eggs, so hubby would make me 1 and I'd eat 1 bite and be done with it.

OMG! I could have lived on scrambled eggs alone before my surgery, Now..  Just the thought of an egg now makes me sick! I hate that too btw. But I'm dealing with it.
