I believe I can get upset over something that makes me feel uncomfortable. no, it's not the end of the world but very frustrating, and to me, it is a big deal.  Thanks so much for chiming in with your very helpful opinion. It will REALLY make a difference to me.  If you think that I don't want a revision, then you are quite funny. You don't really know what I have been though do you? Also, this sleep study is the LAST thing to do before my surgery so then I guess I went through ALL OF THOSE OTHER TESTS AND APPOINTMENTS just for fun!   Thanks

Honey I myself am going for a revision from the band to the bypass.  After ten years  of having the band I still have to do everything all over.  Do you now how many people can't even get one surgery done nevermind going in for a revision?

If it is the last thing then do it and stop whining about it.

If you don't have anything constructive to say, why waste your time or mine writing negative comments? Just go on about your business and don't read anything that I may write.  Many people have commented with their experiences and positive thoughts. I am sorry that you are unable to respond in a positive manner. Please just stop.

This is a public forum. You are entitled to your comments, others are entitled to theirs.

You are worried, and many think it is unusual and perhaps unwarranted. Leaving comments to suggest or enable that a sleep study is a horrifying thing may lead others *****ad this post in the future to believe it. Who knows what effect that could have on others *****ad it?

There's nothing wrong with having a legitimate phobia. I think many of us deal with various fears when facing surgery and the changes that come with post-op life.

Writing about your worries (initially and in replies) in a way that makes you sound like you're whining, rolling your eyes, and stomping your foot won't get you much sympathy, however. Just for future reference :)

if you feel i am stomping my foot or whining then thats how you feel. Even if I was whining, I did not know that was "against the rules". I was not intending to scare someone else of course. That is just how I am feeling and I have definitely benefited from posting about it. There have been many helpful members that have posted positive messages, shared their stories and gave me some suggestions and essentially have positively effected me. I can't say I am jumping up and down to take the test, but I do find their messages comforting. I didn't expect some people would be so mean though but I am just going to ignore them from now on and focus on the rest!

People can read things and understand them in many different ways-- such is the nature of written communication on the internet. Typing that you're "SOOOOOO upset" it comes across very differently from "I'm really upset," and it can absolutely color others' responses to you. Just my $0.02. :)

Ouch.  You sound a little upset.
