What an inspiration you are! Your exercise regime is crazy awesome! I just can't catch that bug... I love watching your menu on MFP.

oh my word you are so tiny! You look fabulous!  My next unofficial goal is 150 lbs THEN I would like to hit 146.5. That would be 1/2 my top weight. I am so happy right where I am now but I too am terrified of maintenance and bounce back. So a few extra pounds lost would just be insurance.

Thanks for all your encouraging posts!

I love seeing your menus too!  You always eat such a well-balanced diet!  I need to incorporate some more veggies, I think.  And less protein crackers and popcorn lol.

Honestly, I am not someone who just LOVES the gym so much on its own - it's more that I like to eat my 1,100 or 1,200 calories per day and the only way I can do that is if I burn 400 or 500 calories!  So it's more like I suffer through the sweat and pain so I can eat lol.  Does that make sense?  I could restrict my diet more but I choose the Arc Trainer instead ha ha.

You look super tiny and amazing yourself!  I have no doubt you can reach 146.5.  Being half your weight is an INSANE sensation.  And you are totally going to get there.

Hi go getter , I'm having my surgery soon and reading how others are progressing is very comforting .  Thank you for inspiring me and talking about your journey towards a healthier you .  This is a wonderful forum,  to see how others are learning on what works and what doesn't it allows me the opportunity to be proactive in my journey to become healthy.   I look forward to the support and the willingness to listen and learn from y'all who are living it. I haven't been on OH in quite a while.  What is the first thing I see when I long back on??? Beautiful Em!!  Actually 1/2 of beautiful Em.  Way to go girl!  You have do such a great job with the hard work.  I am so proud of you!  I know we are almost surgery twins.  I think you were 2 weeks before me.

I have done well too, but since July I have been fluctuating up and down the same 5 lbs.  I go between 190 & 185.  I have to say that I have not been exercising as much and I have not been as faithful at journaling everything I put in my mouth.  Plus the summer fruits are killing me!  Way too many carbs, but oh so good... peaches, watermelon, nectarines, grapes... I could go on and on... It has caused me to eat way too many carbs.   I really need to have a fruit funeral for my favorites that I go way overboard on, like watermelon.  Watermelon season is almost over though.  In a couple months, apples will be my fruit o choice... both filling and lower in carbs than the summer fruits.

Way to go on your hard work!  Keep it up!

Thank you, Sandra!  You are so sweet!  I do feel amazing!  I have some fruit every now and again but thankfully, I seem to have lost my sweet tooth.  Now put a big bag of popcorn in front of me and there is no stopping me.  I do have some mango or cantaloupe or watermelon every now and again but I can stop after a few bites.  I think we have to be cognizant of what foods will never be "a few bites are enough" foods (see popcorn reference above - and I didn't eat popcorn before surgery!).  I so appreciate your support and nice note :)  And welcome back to OH!

You look FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC.  You should be so proud of yourself.  Look at how much you've achieved already.  I have no doubt you'll hit your goal and maintain.

Congrats on finding a trainer that works for you.  I think you may know my deep and abiding love of Mark, my PT.  I've now been working out with him nearly 14 months.  We're down to one day a week now, strictly for financial reasons.  But he keeps me motivated and on the straight and narrow.  I don't think I could have done this without him.

GO YOU!!!
