Yesterday and today so far have been the best days after surgery.  I am tired some but I don't feel half as bad as I did the first two weeks.  I am hoping I can start walking more.  I wanted to try to make it to the gym today depending on how I feel.  I am hoping to at least walk 30 min today.  Today I am supposed to be eating more food.  I will be honest I am kind of scared to eat.  After getting sick on soup last week I am kind of scared to eat regular food.  I will try an egg with cheese later and see how it goes.  My taste buds have totally changed so everything I put in my mouth doesn't seem to satisfy like it used too.  It is good to be eating to live instead of living to eat.  I am excited to see what this journey entails for sure :)  I am 33 so I would like to enjoy doing more with my girls.  And hopefully I can teach Zumba again like I did two years ago after I get the weight off.

Hang in there.  I am 12 days post op and I add in eggs and tuna Wednesday and I am a bit terrified.  It doesn't help that I haven't lost any weight the last two days and it is stressing me out.  This too will pass!

Thanks for your kindness!!  I don't know if I would try eggs first if I were you.  They made me so sick.  I feel like my pouch is constricted.  It hurts eating food.  I just had three small bites and I feel horrible.  Everyone is different. it might work good for you.  I think I am going back on protein shakes for the week after this.

I'm sorry :(

I have been having cottage cheese, yogurt and mashed potatoes and no issues so I will try a half a scrambled egg Wednesday for dinner and hope for the best!

I don't know if I would do eggs first thing. The NUT at my Drs office said many people have problems with eggs. I'm ok with them, but didn't do them til a bit later. Maybe cottage cheese?

wish I would have read this before I tried the eggs.  I feel horrible after three small bites.  I am breaking out in sweats and my stomach is killing me...... Ugh......
