Does anyone know if plexus slim is safe after bypass?

I'd ask a professional. Really. I'm not trying to be glib, but in cases like this...I'd ask my dietician.

I had to look up info on it as I've never heard of it. I'd avoid it based on the ingredients.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I had my RNY 6 years ago. I have a lot of friends on fb who had surgery around the same time. Sadly many have had significant regain. They are still always trying the latest product to try to lose the weight. Plexus is the new in thing (lots of posts about it on fb). It does not seem to be working for any of them. Shocking

I did ask my surgeon. He said it's probably ok to take but he wasn't familiar with it. I don't think it's magic pill. I took it before and felt great on it. So was only wondering about the affects after surgery if any. Thanks for all the replies.

I wouldn't.  Just stick with your program.  This is a revision and you should just follow your instructions.

I'm having a hard time with cravings and that helped me before when I used it. It's so expensive so I never stayed on it. But I'll just keep plugging along I guess.

I'm 11 years post op and tried plexus to try and get rid of a few pounds I gained in last couple years...about 15 pounds.  Anyway, no it won't hurt you...and for me is did help with the snacking ("head hunger" or whatever you want to call it). Since I don't FEEL hungry I don't snack.  I have lost 6 pounds...

You are suffering with head hunger. Part of learning this lifestyle is learning to fight the cravings.   How has your diet been going?  Are you reading your labels. Keeping your carbs under 25 a day ?  The fewer the carbs the fewer the cravings. Using something like that stuff is just developing another crutch. You can do this!

I, too, want to use it to get more water in (makes it go down easier) . . . this is not about losing weight, it's about getting our liquids in . . . Polydextrose is a multi-purpose food ingredient used to replace sugar, fat and calories and to increase fiber content of foods; it also functions as a stabilizer, bulking agent and to help maintain the ideal moisture in a food . . . i will be using what i have until it is gone . . . And yes, we have to use discipline when it comes to "head" hunger . . .
