Realistic Goals
I'm 5'9 and I lost 60 lbs the first two months starting out at 348. I think your goal is very do-able.
So basically 3 months from Surgery? At my 3 month surgiversary I had lost 49 pounds post-op and had lost 25 pre-op for a total of 74. I was very happy with that. I have to say though I usually set smaller goals along the way instead of thinking so far out. Usually monthly. My 5 month surgiversary is tomorrow and I have a doc's appointment. At this point my goal is to keep double digit weight loss as long as I can. I started at 383. I weigh myself daily but record it weekly on Wednesdays (the day I had my surgery). I do find that helps keep me on track. I had 2 stalls in those first 3 months too...one 3 1/2 weeks and one 2 weeks. Good Luck!

I think it is certainly possible. I had not lost that much in three months, but I kept losing and made it to my goal weight - so that was the important part. My best advice is to work as hard as you can and take advantage of the honeymoon phase. Malabsorption is NOT forever. You have to make the most of the first year for sure.
