Why aren't you hungry after RNY?
When i eat carbs, I get hungry and stay hungry.. but when I follow low carb diet - i get hungry just enough to eat my meals. I am almost 7 years post op.

I experience hunger. The difference is that I know it isn't a life-altering emergency the way I perceived it before it before surgery. Now I view it the same way I view the gas light in my car: I will need some fuel at some point in the not-to-distant future.
I fight badgers with spoons.

I am hungry all the time. I just deal with it. A eat a little every 3-4 hours and the hunger usually goes away.
