Cramps?
I get horrible, painful, tear-inducing, curse-word-y foot, leg and hand cramps when my magnesium (and sometimes potassium) levels are low. I take mega-doses of magnesium citrate and the cramps stop... but when I forget or run out, they start again. Have you had labs done lately?
FYI avoid magnesium oxide, the cheapest and most common form available in the store. It's a good laxative, but it's the least bio-available form of mag out there.... you would have to take lots more to make up lower levels.
