I had surgery on Wednesday, went home from Hospital on Friday, laid low over the weekend, by Monday I was decent and by Wednesday I couldn't believe I had surgery a week ago. I was still tired in the afternoons for a couple of weeks. Took pain pill first night home, then Tylenol...

I didn't get gas pains at all,  and my guts didn't hurt at all,  BUT,  my abs hurt really badly.  My core was very very sore for about 2 weeks.  The first 5 days were the worst.

I didn't have a normal energy level for about 6 weeks.

All totally worth it! I'm just over 7 months post op,  getting close to my goal already,  and I'm wearing sizes I've never worn before in my life.  I weigh what I weighed when I was 10, and of course I was obese then too. It's been amazing!

I think you need to solicit responses from people who are having the surgery you are having. The sleeve to RnY surgery. This will not compare to anyone's RnY surgery. This will be a major surgery.

Anyone here whose had a Sleeve to Rny surgery?

It may be helpful to check the revision board.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I have looked through the revision board but it doesn't get much activity-not much feedback.

I only had pain the 2 days in the hospital, due to gas.  The pain was easily controlled with meds and walking.  Beginning with day #3 there was no more pain or need for the meds that were sent home with me.  As others have said, "easy peasy".

As for my energy level following surgery...zilch, nada, none at all until beginning 3 weeks after surgery.

I hope I am just as lucky and only have minimal pain. I am a little afraid to be honest. I had no fear going in to the sleeve.
