Has somebody needed to change from Sleeve to Bypass??
WLS is a tool. Sleeve is a tool.
If you regain because you don't follow proper diet - most likely that will happen again after RNY. Initially you may lose some weight- but long-term successes are based on ability to stick to a proper diet. DS - may be more forgiving since they bypass the most and fat malabsobtion is permanent, but that surgery comes with its own post op requirments, and rules- and even that one will not help if a person eat too many carbs and sugars.
If you sleeve still works - it is up to you to get back on track and lose the regain.
And even if you get revision - typically people lose slower...so why not use the tool you already have?
