Thanks for the encouragement. I know I have time, but I worry that if I can't make myself make time for it, now--when is it going to become a priority? I am rooting for you on your race! You are going to kill it!

I'm 6.5 months out but today is my 6 mos check up with the surgeon. I'm looking forward to and hoping all goes well.

QOTD: I liked the Little House on the Prairie books a lot but I was never much of a reader when I was young.

Hi JB!

QOTD-I was really into the Black Stallion series, I read all of them! Wrinkle in time was also a favorite, as was the Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy. When I was in elementary school I liked and book worth horses, so Little House on the Prairie counted :) As an adult I love the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series, and I liked all but the last third of the Hunger Games series ( felt she jumped the shark when the rebels got to the capital).

I've been of work all week. I feel GREAT, but my BP is sky high. I've been sipping, walking and sleeping every day. I get the WSJ and the New York Times, so lots of reading too...

I had to take my brother and SIL to the airport. Then i stopped at the nursing home to visit my friend.

QOTD loved little house on the paraire and nancy drew/ hardy boys mysteries

Hi everyone! today is my Friday. Work actually realeased us at 3, but I stayed till 4. I'm really looking forward to the long weekend. Will hit the gym tonight and do a class in the morning.

195 today, 23 months out.

m1: 2 fried eggs, 1/2c turkey sausage crumbles

M2: Greek yogurt, berries, granola

m3: tuna pouch, boiled egg, salad

m4: 3.8oz bourbon chicken bites & salad

4 double stuff Oreos-- the win in that is that I didn't finish the pack.
