I used to go to a religious camp every summer and we were all reading VC Andrews! They must not have known what that was all about, haha. Did you see the Flowers in the Attic Lifetime movie that was on about a year ago? It was campy-gold!

How funny!! They were pretty risqué, especially for religious camp. I did see part of Flowers in the Attic - so super campy!

I was hiking last summer and a lady stopped me on the trail to tell me "Good for you, getting some exercise!". I was SO livid. I may be obese but I love hiking and how dare a complete stranger judge me based on my size. I have had this happen a few times and it always made me so self conscious. I am looking forward to hiking this summer because I already feel much more confident and I am looking forward to seeing how much further I can go.

I would have been livid too! Fear of being judged was a huge hindrance to exercise in the past for me.

I'm also looking forward to see how I do this year on the more challenging trails I used to avoid! There are so many places and views I've missed out on long enough!

Good morning all -

I'm off today, but work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday days. I'm gonna miss Easter at my dad's with all of my nieces and great nieces that live near me, so I'm pretty bummed about that. I will make sure that they get pictures for me though.

QOTD: I loved the Little House on the Prairie books. I also love Little Women, and Gone with the Wind.

Today I am one month out from surgery. I have lost 17.2 pounds in this last month, I was really hoping to hit at least 20, but I will happily take the 17. I found out that a friend took a picture of me while I was on vacation last July. I had dieted to get into those Capri jeans so it was not taken at my heaviest, but was pretty close. The other picture I had my friend take of me right before we left for work on Tuesday afternoon. I tried to sit similar to how I was sitting in the other picture.

Menu:

B- Protein shake

L- Ricotta Bake

D - Deer stick, 1/2 C Cottage cheese

Calories- 535, Protein - 80, Carbs- 16
