What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Oh I loved Trixie Belden! I wanted that to be my nickname... :)
Good morning JB and all of you beautiful menuers. This is a quick drive by. I have Pilates in an hour and have to get it together between now and then. I will come back later to read the thread and all of your comments.
JB, I so get it about the gym and running. I am not working right now and I still can't seem to carve out the time. I am hopeless! Thank goodness you are much better than me.
Did I tell you that I have my first plastics date? It is 6/8, and it will be tummy stuff. Arms and boobs to follow in a couple of months. Yay!
I saw Beauty and The Beast yesterday I LOVED it. Emma Watson was perfect as Belle.
Today, after Pilates, I have to grocery shop for Easter, and then I must do my taxes. It is Defcon 2. I cannot put it off any longer. I hope to report here tomorrow that I am done, and they are filed. Hold me accountable, please.
QOTD: When I was in grade school, I loved the Ramona the Pest series by Beverly Cleary, and the Narnia series. In high school I read everything Tolkien, Michener, LeGuin and others. Then I went on a Russian author binge with Tolstoy, Chekhov and Dostoyevsky. I reread the Narnia series, which was a very different read then when I was in grade school.

Ok this is so wrong but I am so relieved to hear that you are behind in training, too. I was picturing you turned into a gym rat who was going to kick my ass in this race. I mean, you probably still are, but...
Agreed, I missed all the religious imagery in Narnia as a kid, but it smacked m between the nose upon rereading as an adult!
Late post and this is just a fly by. I am slammed at work!!
QOTD: I was a non-fiction book person. I always brought home books about animals (mostly horses), volcanoes, weather, space, rocks, ect. I loved National Geographic and my Encyclopedia set. I had a Guinness book of world records book too. I loved to look at maps. I used to travel with my Grandparents and as we were driving I would study the maps of where we were going and where we had been. I still love to look at them. As a young adult I read the Stephen King Dark Tower Series. I really loved it.
Menu: Fairlife milk & coffee, grilled chicken, baked fish, cheese & lunch meat. Not sure about dinner yet.

Happy Thursday! JB - I wouldn't sweat the training. You still have plenty of time to prepare for your half. I think at this point I would focus on getting runs in and not worry about distance. Don't push yourself to go farther than you're ready for or you will get hurt. You want to talk panic? I have a 1/2 exactly 1 month from today, haven't run more than 6 miles at a time since December and have a cold. I'm in a panic!!!!
JBQOTD - Without a doubt, the Harry Potter series (is that considered Young Adult???)
My plan:
B: I ran out of ground turkey so I got egg white bites from Starbucks
L: Leftover Brisket (3.1 oz) and broccoli
D: shrimp (3 oz) and salad
S: Skinny latte, ham (2.5oz) and cheese (1 oz) rollups or dannon light and fit, almonds after the gym or my run (if my body agrees to go to the gym/for a run)
Zicam, Emergen-C and a crap ton of water
