What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Good morning everyone!
One of our babies is sick today so Zach is going to take her to the vet and find out what's going on. She won't eat her breakfast and she just threw up everywhere. Fingers crossed that she's ok. I hate that I have to go to work knowing that she doesn't feel well. Poor girl!
Accountability: had an unplanned snack late last night but still stayed within calorie limit
QOTD: the ripped jeans look doesn't really bother me but the super short shorts that look like denim underwear with pockets drive me nuts haha.
B- pp shake
L- leftover ground turkey patty
D- leftover chicken meatballs
S- Greek light and fit yogurt, maybe some baby dill pickles in the evening
V- patches
E- getting home late tonight and I don't know what's going on with our dog so I might skip it

Ditto with the denim underwear!! I especially hate the shorts with front pockets longer than the denim so they hang out the bottom.

QOTD: When I was a kid (about 35 years ago..in the late 80s early 90s...the Tiffani & Debbie Gibson era) Ripped Jeans were in and my dad said the same thing and wouldn't let me have them. I think what Debbie Gibson did on her knee of the ripped jean on her "Out of the Blue" cover was cute!

I STILL have it under the bed in the guest room/office. I am sure if I played it, the tape would disintegrate! So now I listen to her on youtube. I wish I could find the Celebrity Deathmatch claymation of Debbie gibson versus Tiffani...but I think that is forever burned in the memory hole

Happy hump day! Posting late as I had a busy morning at work. Tired, went to a poetry reading at a downtown pub (the pub itself was really cool!) featuring one of my favorite college professors. Ended up staying after the reading and chatting with them over a drink (a Shirley Temple for me, no booze) for way too long.

QOTD: I don't mind ripped jeans, but I've seen some ripped right below the butt cheeks I feel are pretty tasteless. I've never bought myself any pre-ripped, but I had a pair I clung to for dear life that had seen better days that I kept wearing for around the house/yardwork/etc, but never out in public.
breakfast today was 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt with 1/4 C blueberries, 2 lowfat mozzarella string cheeses
snack (eating now): cucumber slices with Italian yogurt dip (it's a dry mix I bought at the farmers market, mixed with plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream)
lunch: leftover noodle-less chicken noodles lol. Basically chicken breast in thickened broth/cream, frozen peas and carrots mixed in. I foresee a lot of this concoction this winter, very comforting!
dinner: turkey taco meat with the fixin's

QOTD I don't care for the ripped look either.
Accountability I had a change in supper, I had cheeseburger without a bun and strawberry shortcake without the shortcake. I had extra protein bar and lots of skinny pop popcorn.
B ham and cheese omelette
L tuna and cottage cheese
D ham steak, asparagus and strawberry shortcake without the shortcake
S cheeseburger if needed since my meals are later than usual.
