About a week before my husband passed away, my wedding band broke in half. It was a thin gold band that was 40 years old. I did not want Joe to know so hurried to a jewelry store and got one that matched perfectly. But it was a strange omen and I did not tell him.

I still have the two halves of that broken wedding band. Making a necklace is a wonderful idea. I really did not want to wear the rings on my hand, but this is a great way to take them out of the jewelry box and still enjoy them.

I would have freaked out!
We had to cut DH's ring (it was during shelter in and jewelry stores were not open) because he had sprained his finger by doing something stupid and the finger was swollen and the ring was really hurting the finger. He hasn't fixed the ring yet and I joke with him it's an omen that we can't be together any more.

We do attach a lot of importance to those rings. But I think you and hubby can still be together.

I love that necklace. I have my Moms wedding set that I would love to do something with it one day. This is the perfect Idea. Thank you.

hi all

not too much to report here. I worked, ran a few errands. really wanted to go to grocery and get a starbucks while I walked it but for some reason I lost interest and didn't go in. it like covid has me second guessing what I really want to do- is it worth the hassle, if not, don't do it.

so she put you to 800 calories a day? wow

accountability- had a few squares of 86% cocoa chocolate so it wasn't sweet but fatty?

QOTD: this is a tough one, I can't think of anything that im sooo in love with?

Food plan:

b: coffee/premier creamer

egg whites/egg/45 cal bread

b2: rest of b- or a shake?

She actually put me on 755 calories but psychologically I can't handle it. I think I will feel better at 800 and seeing leftover calories (like today), then putting it at 755 and going over by 15 calories and having it show up in the red. I am a special kind of WLS snowflake apparently.
