Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Oh Monday how it comes so quickly. I had a nice weekend getting some new clothes to me at some yard sales. I was able to use the pool a lot, and I started the Elvis 100. I don't know if I will ever finish the run considering I have run over 10 miles and race Joy has only tracked about 3.5 miles. I do not understand the app and I follow what is says but it is not doing what is is supposed to be doing. UGH.

But with that said I am excited because I have an eye appointment tomorrow and I am definitely in need of an updated prescription so New Glasses. Yes!! I need to find a new online eye glass place eye buy direct does not have anything that is exciting me and they have less and less try on options so if you can hit me up with what online eye glass place you love it would be greatly appreciated. Also I am taking Friday off because I have a bunch of PTO available but it is hard to get time off because I have no one to take care of my accounts.

QOTD: Work stuff. We are in the process of changing how we do things here with lots of meetings so I let my mind think way to much about what the next meeting (this Thursday) may bring.

Accountability: I was a hot mess. Wine, pasta, pizza. Poutine, chips, and frozen yogurt bars. I am sure I am missing a few things.

Good morning! Working from home today. I'm happy to hear you had a successful AMAW last week, JB! I did pretty well myself. I'm so happy to be back and working hard at getting back to goal. It seems much easier to stay the course and work hard then be on the emotional food roller coaster of yo-yo but when diet fatigue sets in, the struggle is real. I have my 5 years coming in November and would like to be at goal by then, fingers crossed!

We had a really nice weekend, lots of doggy walks, walked 9 holes, singles pickleball, BBQ, kiddo time and of course a murder show or two. I enjoyed a few glasses of wine on Saturday evening where I snacked too much and further cemented my need/desire to not drink!

QOTD- I over think everything but my childhood and our family dysfunction has occupied that spot front and center for the last 2-3 years. We looked like the perfect family, but childhood emotional neglect is real. It has affected every part of my life and only came to light for me after my parent passed. It's been a huge awakening and quite painful. This understanding has made me a better mother which makes me very happy, so... It's been a journey.

Mindful of all the rules

E - 2 walks with doggy's

Have a wonderful day!
