Nice gesture on the Mom note. You can steal this if you want, it reminds me of your thoughtfulness. On my Brothers 21's Birthday he sent flowers to my moms work. Baby boy blue carnations and the tag said it's a boy. The note was a thank you for being such a good mom. I wish I was as good as him at giving gifts.

Ok I got a question for my management friends. We have a Covid policy in place here at work. There is an employee who is hacking and coughing and refuses to wear a mask and I know for fact is not vaccinated and has not had a Covid test. I pointed it out to her immediate manager however he will not do anything. Should I take it to another level and tell my boss? I don't want to be the Passive Aggressive pain in the ass.

QOTD: I will bake and give out cookies. DH does all the Crafting in our lives. I did see a shirt I would like him to make my mom. It says "Sweet old lady? More like Battle-Tested Warrior Queen."

We are struggling here too. We have a mandatory mask if unvaccinated policy. My one problem employee keeps moving around without a mask. I went to her supervisor and said enough. We'll see if that helps. This is a real challenging situation for management. Trying to keep the whole work force safe, but not tread on individual rights. If you are concerned, I would ask your manager to keep that person from your area if not masked up. Or, I would keep your door closed and locked so that they can't enter and wear my mask when moving around. Yes I know you shouldn't have to, but your long term health takes priority.

I understand that our insurance is going up for our unvaccinated employees. We pay 100% of insurance, but they have to sign off that it's a floating benefit that can change and there is no guarantee we will always be able to pay it. If our insurance does in fact go up for those unvaccinated, they will be required to pay that difference. I bet we get to 100% compliance in a hot minute.

I expressed my concerns to the owner who is unvaccinated so the ball is in his court. He was super nice and agreed that I have done the right thing. I think he will be making her go test.

I work for our County and it's quite organized. We are all mandated to wear masks all the time unless you are in an office alone with the door closed, vaccinated or not. We don't have issues with people not complying in my department. We are required to fill out a health screening daily prior to coming in the office. If anyone reports any symptoms or exposure, they are not to come to wor****il they speak with Public Health to determine the next step - testing, quarantine.... and must be released to return to work.

Private sector is a crap shoot, I know.

Doesn't help owner is against Vaccination however I do have office with a door so I got that going for me.

Good morning!

Trying to get my desk organized this morning and it just is not capturing my attention! The hubs birthday celebration continues tonight with dinner with friends at an Italian restaurant, so that's another challenge to negotiate. Two more days of work, then I am off next week.

JB, I am envious of your Lasik procedure!!! It's going to be so great for you!

L: leftover stuffed bell pepper (I took H.A.L.A.B's advice and amped them up with sauce and more cheese. So much better!!)

D: I have no idea. But I'm betting their will be wine.
