Love the photo!

My dad used to sleep on his back vampire/coffin style - arms crossed on his chest.

Cliffhanger? Is that both of you hanging off opposite sides of the bed?

After the last accident I was in (I was rear ended) I couldn't sleep on my side because my SI joints got smashed just enough to cause a lot of pain. I had to learn to sleep on my back. The only way I could sleep is to have a neck pillow, a large and thick pillow or a wedge under my knees, plus small pillows for under my arms. It was 2 years before I could sleep on my right side. Another year to be able to sleep on my left side. I still have an occasional SI joints misalignment that prevents me sleeping on one or the other side.

I also learned that having a back pain, sciatica and pain that radiates into one or both legs when sitting, standing or walking, or pain when trying t o lay on either side may indicate SI joints damage or misalignment. Some damage to SI joints can't be seen on x-rays or even MRIs. And only symptoms plus treatment can "prove" the damage.

Happy Friday! Put me in the exhausted category too -- everyone but the host and I cancelled on book club so we both agreed it would be nice to give it a pass; I wrapped up work, took a hot bath, had a glass of wine and was asleep before 8. It was lovely.

Busy day and weekend ahead, I met both my deadlines yesterday so that was nice. Workout with my trainer tonight, then meeting friends for a drink and to see House of Gucci, tomorrow a health and wellness fair at my pilates studio and a 50th birthday part for a friend, Sunday I hope to put my tree up, clean house and chill.

QOTD - I love TRX, it makes me feel strong; I even have a set of straps for home. The variety of options within the pilates studio are great for me, and I love having the elliptical and rower with iFIT; for me the key is the variety and consistency. I really don't like zoom classes but don't mind an exercise video and I'd rather not work out with other people. When none of those options are available, I'm happy to just get out and walk. This summer I tried a mini tramp class and a cardio drumming class and both were fun but not things I would do regularly.

menu today is a bit up in the air

coffee plus half and half X3

protein oatmeal

cheese and cashews

yogurt

built bar during movie

my pictures are sunset from my sister's backyard and some pronghorn that I took from the side of the road, probably the best photos I've ever gotten of them! (Pronghorn are not antelope or deer but more closely related to gazelles or giraffes! They are native to my area and are they fast -- 50+ miles an hour....which they usually hit when I'm trying to photograph them).

Have a great weekend everyone!

Pay attention to lady Gaga on the ski slopes and her outfit. Then come back to me to talk.
