do you use the riced cauliflower as a rice substitute? Low in calories. Rice doesn't really agree with me anymore so I try to avoid it.

I've thought about joining WW online just for the daily support groups. I don't know if I'd switch completely over to their eating plan (although I probably would at first just to see how it works for me), but I think just the daily support might be helpful in keeping me in line...

Hey everyone and Happy Friday! We made it to another weekend!

It is sink or swim time for the academic part of my life. It has been a huge struggle and made me question my desire to continue past an associate's degree. I have action that needs to be taken immediately if I want to proceed. I hate the feeling that comes along with failing. I used to eat my feelings and now I just let myself stew in the discomfort.

QOTD: My adolescent years were full of bad fashion choices. See choice #1: Hairstyle-An afro in the 90's. See choice #2: Wardrobe- Baggy Jeans like JNCO and black heavy metal t-shirts. Still, I was growing into my own and really enjoyed the independence.

Accountability: 1/2 roll with olive oil and Parm, two forkfuls of spaghetti aglio olio. First time having pasta since surgery and I handled it well.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich.

D: Leftover Chicken Marsala and garlic spinach.

This is what my before and after pic Iooks like recently:

Go with your heart. If you are not being fulfilled by what you are doing head in a direction that makes you happy. That is not failure that is just someone figuring out what is best for them. It took me till I was in my mid 30's before I found what i didn't mind doing and I was happy. Now I am close to retirement with in the next ten years and I consider myself as pertaining to my job, "Not Unhappy" but I think it is a little late to make a career change at this time in my life. Keep searching it will come.

Good luck with your decisioning and remember there are very few choices that can't be changed. Sometimes changing them is work/money/time but still possible. That helps me when I feel stuck because a decision is "too big"

Good Morning, happy Fri-YAY! Jen, my weekend plans look like that meme too. We might be having the granite installed tomorrow but I don't think it's ready yet. Things are coming along. Oh and I have to go to the lab for bloodwork for an appointment with my hematologist. That seal looks adorable.

QOTD: Permed hair. I say that because I had to put

so much product in it for it to be curly which the end result was crunchy hair.

TSS: 7 years 8 months

B: SF latte, orange, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Turkey stick, cheese stick, carrots, pudding, and a pear

S: Protein puffs, nuts, an apple and yogurt

D: ? still playing it by ear most nights.

ES: Greek yogurt

E: Treadmill and elliptical

V/W: On track

Have a great day!
