What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Happy Tuesday and the kick off of the short week (for most of us). I hope Monday was better than the usual Monday if you had to work it!

My weekend was good and just what I needed, I planted a ton of plants in the yard and in pots and my first rose of the season bloomed on one of my rose bushes yesterday. I also watched both the Obi-Wan episodes they released this weekend and the entire 7 episodes of Stranger Things, recommend both!

No big plans for today, at work, I start the day with a presentation to my regional president, I should probably be more nervous but I've made this presentation so many times otherwise, just a lot of 1 on 1s. Plus, we moved my personal training session from Saturday until this evening so I'll get that done!

I did read last night that yet another study proves coffee is good for you (and we all know, me having coffee is good for other people)l. That prompts the QOTD.

QOTD - coffee, tea or other beverage for you? It seems a lot of people are coffee or tea but I drink both, I prefer coffee in the morning but if I'm in a fasting situation, I will switch to black tea. I like herbal tea in the afternoon or evening...and I've even been known to drink DECAF americanos to get through the day.

menu today is:

coffee plus half and half X2

English Muffin with Pb and bacon

small slice pizza

Jalapeno Sausage

Have a fantastic FINAL day of May everyone!!

b: coffee coffee

2 low carb tortilla with thin Sargent cheese

l: leftover squash, some kind of meat (i ate the chicken i thought i was going to have)

I have tried matcha a few times, not sure if my preparation is not correct or if I just don't like it; I think I need to try it when someone else prepares it!

Good mornin Jen and thanks for getting us started today.

Not a lot happened this weekend. We BBQed twice. I did sign up for WW and I'm really liking how the program is now. I am half way through the "lessons" of how the program works now. We went out to eat at a sandwich shop and I got a salad with grilled chicken and no dressing.

Today looks to be pretty busy. I have an appointment at 9:40 with my PCP's nurse to talk over my lab results and one at 11:40 at the pain management clinic. My pain levels are just unacceptable. The medication I'm currently taking is usually prescribed for 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours...I get 3 pills every 24 hours. If I'm going to need to take something to help me through the day at least I should be getting the right dosage. Also haven't heard anything about the nerve conduction test yet. It's just been so frustrating and disheartening.

QOTD: coffee most usually. I do enjoy cold tea every once in a while.

My goal is 136. The day after Christmas I was 155. I set a goal to get to 136 by Memorial Day. I went to online WW almost every day. I tracked, exercised, and weighed every day. Yesterday I was 135.

Great news that Em doesn't have to miss anything! I am completely fine with being masked so I can do all the things without risking my health (or anyone else)...I realized in the first fall that not getting the flu or a cold and being able to breath during wildfire season was so nice! I hope your busy week of end of high school activities goes well!
