Good Morning! Is it really only Thursday?! I mean, I guess it's a good thing since we have so much to do at work this week but I feel like I've worked at least three days already. One team member came back yesterday so I'm grateful that she's feeling okay and of course that she's there to help.

QOTD: Travel expenses

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal , turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, SF pudding and an apple

S: Protein puffs, a peach and yogurt

D: Not sure, maybe a salad from Wendy's if I feel like stopping on my way home

Good morning, everybody!

Thank you for the empty nest advice yesterday. And for those *****frained from adding a cat based solution, I thank you also.

Marilyn and the youngest left at about 9:45 yesterday and got to Alabama at about 10:00 at night. It sounds like they hit some traffic getting out of Chicago (not surprising).

Move in for him is actually tonight at 7:00, so they have a pretty relaxed day. Mostly just picking up his computer and student ID. Unlike the other two kids schools, they won't have student volunteers to help move everything up, so it will be a few trips for them.

I am hoping that we can have happy hour tonight, we have had more misses than attendances the last couple of months.

QOTD: I am going to go with cruises.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Hamburger

Dinner: Happy Hour

Good morning! Happy to be up and showered and ready for the day. Loving the early morning weather right now. I was able to leave the house open and airing out until I started dinner last night, and we slept without the A/C for the first time in probably 10 days. I slept so well with the fresh air and no A/C noise. Our bedroom unit is portable as they did not do a good job with vents in that bedroom. So at night we've been keeping the rest of the house closed off and running the portable in our room. It's a great unit, but it's noise and blowy all night long and there is nothing like cool FRESH air to help a girl sleep.

I was 100% on food accountability yesterday, even with my homemade Potatoes Dauphinoise. They were high calorie, but I ate less then 1/5 of the recipe and that turned out to be 167 calories according to the recipe. And they were delicious! I came in at 1202 calories for the day.

Today we have a lunch date at 11 am. Makes me feel like an old person to eat at 11, and it's going to jack up my eating for the whole day. But it wasn't my turn to set the time and place. But I will truly enjoy the company!

D: gyros meat from TJ's. small salad, Tzatziki sauce, 1/2 TJ's garlic naan (dang these are good!)
