Happy Hump Day!! Dealing with fleas with my cat and dog. Never had them in the 20 years of living where we do. The dog was a big baby about the bath, the cat took it all in stride he was a good boy for never having a bath before. Now have to bomb the house so much fun. Never a dull moment in my life. LOL

Carbs are my kryptonite they are the reason I gained 30lbs during the last two years. I am down 12lbs in two weeks because I cleaned all the crap out of the house.

I am The opposite! There is very little historical fiction I will read because there are so many interesting real people. But way back in the day, the Jean Plaidy books are what started my interest in history at all so that was a plus!

JB - congrats on A's! That's so much work.

QOTD- So many things. Lately it's been horticulture.

Today is my last day off and I'm trying to wrap up a few things. I picked up a package at the post office. Went grocery shopping and picked up some nice tofu and mushrooms. I want to try a couple of air fryer recipes for the first time with my fancy oven feature. Results may vary. There's also a bit more laundry to be done, and my two additional cameras have arrived. I should be able to mount the one on the side of the house today and I got some epoxy for the one on the back. Today is probably the last 100+ temperature day...really looking forward to it feeling like fall.

Good morning! Seems like a sleepy start for a Wednesday around here! I was 100 % on food yesterday but I did cave and have a measured 3 ounce glass of wine. I had tons of extra calories available for the day and the neighbors were all out laughing and talking...I know excuses, excuses. But I at least measured out a small pour and did not go back for more. I also walked to yoga, did an hour of chair yoga, walked to lunch to meet a friend and walked home, logging about 85 minutes of activity before 1 pm. Today I plan on taking brown dog on a PT walk, and then taking myself on a power walk. Dinner out tonight with a friend in town from KC, MO.

QoTD: Geography. I am just terrible at where places are and in relation to other places. My recall for this stuff, and also for world history sucks.

Menu:

B: I lied, smoked pork for one more breakfast. Proof that I am weighing things. Trying so hard not to eyeball food right now and use the scale. Plus my regular 2 oz of cottage cheese

L: a P3 pack and a few bbq pop chips. I bought that cheese Sheila mentioned yesterday. Calorie wise it's not so bad, if you can maintain the serving size. I am a bit afraid to open it because the check out guy was RAVING about it. So I'm afraid that once I open it, I'll have no self control!

D: lemon rockfish and grilled artichoke

It seems that world geography is constantly changing. There seems to be a bunch of new "stans" in the middle east.

My geography knowledge is terrible. The other night Grim and I challenged each other to name all 50 states. I did it alphabetically but he did it from east to west geographically! What!? I am cool with the east and west coasts but where everything goes in the middle remains a mystery to me!

I do them from east to west as well. I think I'd leave out too many if I did it alphabetically!

You guys did what???? I could not even! It would take quite a while for me to pull out all states from my brain. But to do it alphabetically or east to west geographically? No...not even if my kids were ransomed for it! Color me impressed!
