Yes, 3 days in a glass igloo hotel, plus getting to drive huskies; a snowmobile tour and meeting with a Sami group. Also on the trip a couple of days in Helsinki and one in Tallin. No guarantee in the lights I know but we are maximizing the opportunities for sure. I've seen them before, once here and once in Iceland in October but never the vibrancy that we might be lucky enough to see!

That sounds like a perfect Scandinavian adventure! Can't wait to hear about it afterward and how many saunas you find. :)

There is a possibility I already have a list going of ones to visit:-). I loved the hot springs in Iceland, the hammams in turkey and Morocco so I know I will love the saunas too. I had no idea the communal soak/bathe/sweat culture would be so fun, lol

Good morning and happy Wednesday. Yesterday's colonoscopy procedure went well. The worst part was the hour drive at 5 am in the dark with heavy rain and wind. I am thankful for my husband. I thought I would be anxious, but I was actually very calm. It was nice having my DD there to admit me and get my IV started. When sedated, I did have weird dreams of my dog that passed away 10 years ago. I was talking about her being with me as I woke up. They did find 4 polyps and some pockets of diverticula, but not divertilitis. ( I know I spelled that wrong). My results should be back in about a week. I have to go back in 3 years. I still feel a bit groggy this morning and bloated with a dull headache. Still no real clear answers about the left side pain. I don't know where to take it from here.

QOTD- I bought my daughter and I matching Christmas pajamas. I also bought my daughter and son in law a Nespresso coffee machine. I really struggle with what to buy for my family at Christmas. I don't want to buy stuff just to buy it.

Food plan for today- Not really feeling hungry, so it will be light.

B- protein shake with cold brew

s-2 boiled egg

L-bare nuggets in the air fryer with SF G Huges dipping sauce

D- Either halibut or cod, brussell sprouts

Have a great day and be kind.

yea - I've always found colonoscopies per se kind of a nothing burger. It's the prep that's awful...
